- ⢠Build, mentor, and scale a distributed team of 20+ career coaches, resume writers, interview trainers, and alumni success managers located across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific time zones.
- ⢠Translate complex labor-market data into actionable roadmaps that keep our curriculum and coaching methodologies six months ahead of industry demand, ensuring every graduate is hired at or above their target compensation.
- ⢠Design and continuously refine a data-driven learner journey that integrates AI-powered mock interviews, personalized skill-gap analysis, salary-negotiation simulations, and peer-to-peer accountability groups.
- ⢠Partner with engineering, product, and data science teams to embed real-time analytics into our platform, enabling coaches to intervene early when a learnerâs engagement or assessment scores dip.
- ⢠Own the P&L for career services, forecasting quarterly revenue tied to placement outcomes, optimizing CAC-to-LTV ratios, and presenting board-level updates on ROI and learner NPS.
- ⢠Establish and nurture relationships with 300+ hiring partnersâfrom seed-stage startups to FAANG giantsâcreating exclusive pipelines, referral bonuses, and alumni hiring loops that generate 60% of all job offers.
- ⢠Spearhead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that increase representation of women, veterans, and under-represented minorities in senior engineering roles, tracking progress through transparent dashboards.
- ⢠Launch a thought-leadership program that positions Interview Kickstart as the definitive voice in tech career acceleration: webinars, whitepapers, conference keynotes, and podcast appearances that collectively reach 1 M+ professionals annually.
- ⢠Implement a continuous feedback loop with graduates, collecting qualitative stories and quantitative metrics to refine every touchpointâfrom onboarding surveys to 90-day post-placement check-ins.
- ⢠Create scalable playbooks, SOPs, and certification paths that allow new coaches to ramp to full productivity within 30 days while maintaining a 4.8/5 average learner satisfaction score.
- ⢠Collaborate with marketing to craft compelling case studies and ROI testimonials that fuel top-of-funnel growth, driving a 3à increase in qualified applications quarter-over-quarter.
- ⢠Champion a culture of experimentation, running A/B tests on coaching formats (1:1 vs. group vs. async), pricing models, and alumni subscription tiers to unlock new revenue streams.
- ⢠Ensure compliance with global employment and education regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and state-specific career-services laws, working closely with legal and finance teams.
- ⢠Serve as the executive escalation point for high-stakes learner issuesâvisa complexities, offer renegotiations, or sensitive HR conflictsâresolving 95% of cases within 48 hours.
- ⢠Foster an internal community of practice where coaches share cutting-edge tactics, peer-review session recordings, and collectively raise the bar for what âworld-classâ career transformation looks like.
đŻ Requirements
- ⢠7+ years of progressive leadership experience in tech career services, talent development, or high-growth ed-tech, with at least 3 years managing distributed teams.
- ⢠Demonstrated track record of placing senior software engineers and engineering managers at top-tier companies, evidenced by verifiable offer letters and compensation data.
- ⢠Deep fluency in modern tech stacks (cloud, AI/ML, distributed systems) and the hiring criteria used by FAANG and unicorn startups.
- ⢠Data-obsessed mindset: advanced proficiency in SQL, Tableau, or similar BI tools to extract insights from learner and market data.
- ⢠Exceptional stakeholder management skills, able to influence C-suite executives, hiring managers, and cross-functional product teams alike.
- ⢠Nice-to-have: MBA or Masterâs in Organizational Psychology, ICF or EMCC coaching certification, and prior P&L ownership exceeding $5 M ARR.
