📋 Description

• As the Manager, Client Onboarding and Implementation at Vetcove, you will be instrumental in shaping the initial experience for veterinary clinics joining our innovative platform. This role is critical to our mission of modernizing the animal health industry by empowering veterinary organizations with the tools they need to excel. You will lead the strategy and execution of the entire onboarding and implementation lifecycle, ensuring that each clinic is set up for sustained success and a seamless transition onto Vetcove's suite of products, which includes a leading procurement marketplace, an e-commerce experience for home delivery, and a next-generation practice management system. Your leadership will directly impact the operational efficiency and patient care capabilities of over 25,000 hospitals across the United States, supporting tens of thousands of veterinarians who care for millions of pets annually.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will be multifaceted and dynamic, focusing on both strategic leadership and hands-on team management. You will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of over five Onboarding Specialists, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence in client delivery. A core part of your role will be to own the comprehensive implementation strategy and lifecycle, from initial project planning frameworks through to the successful go-live execution for each client. You will act as the primary escalation point and a key liaison between our veterinary clinic partners and Vetcove's internal teams, ensuring a consistently seamless and consultative onboarding experience that builds strong client relationships. Furthermore, you will define team-wide project goals, establish key success metrics, and set delivery standards that are meticulously aligned with client needs and overarching business priorities, ensuring that every implementation contributes to Vetcove's growth and client satisfaction.
• You will guide veterinary clinics through the often complex process of migrating their existing workflows and data onto our new platform, offering both strategic direction and practical, hands-on support to overcome any challenges. A significant aspect of your role will involve building, refining, and scaling the project management processes, templates, and tooling utilized by your team, ensuring that these systems are robust and capable of supporting our rapid growth. You will oversee the delivery of training programs for new clients and provide essential support to your team as they troubleshoot configuration issues, manage data imports, and facilitate integrations with other systems. Maintaining clear, executive-level communication with both internal stakeholders and client leadership will be paramount to ensuring transparency, managing expectations, and fostering alignment throughout the implementation process. You will also actively partner with our Product and Engineering teams to influence the development of the implementation workflow, acting as a champion for the needs of our clients and the operational requirements of your team, ensuring that Vetcove's solutions continue to evolve to meet market demands.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years managing complex software implementation projects, preferably in a SaaS or tech-enabled services environment, with at least 2 years in a people management role.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage team capacity across multiple concurrent client engagements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools and experience building scalable processes, timelines, and reporting frameworks.
• Experience working with clinics, healthcare providers, or other medical environments is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (up to 10–15%).
