đź“‹ Description
- • As the Manager, Corporate Payroll & Tax at OneSource Virtual (OSV), you will be at the forefront of managing and executing our global payroll and tax functions entirely in-house, leveraging the power of Workday Payroll and TaxEx.
- • This pivotal role demands a unique blend of hands-on payroll processing expertise and strategic leadership, setting you apart from traditional payroll management positions.
- • You will be the ultimate owner of the accuracy, compliance, and overall quality of OSV's biweekly US multi-state payroll and monthly UK payroll, ensuring every employee is paid correctly and on time, and all tax obligations are met with precision.
- • Your responsibilities extend beyond routine processing; you will be the primary subject-matter expert for all payroll compliance matters, proactively monitoring legislative changes and implementing necessary adjustments to systems and processes.
- • You will lead a dedicated team, fostering their growth and ensuring the efficient daily operation of the global payroll function, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- • A key aspect of this role is the direct involvement in payroll execution. You will support the Payroll Analyst in the biweekly US payroll processing, covering everything from salaries and hourly wages to benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions, and will serve as the primary backup to ensure continuity.
- • Independently, you will execute the UK payroll, managing monthly on-cycle payments, annual bonus cycles, and any ad-hoc off-cycle payments with meticulous attention to detail.
- • You will ensure the seamless and accurate processing of all payroll updates, collaborating closely with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to manage new hires, terminations, and compensation changes.
- • In tax compliance, you will be the main point of contact for all registered tax jurisdictions, proactively researching and resolving any outstanding tax matters to maintain a clean compliance record.
- • You will coordinate with the Accounting department to ensure that Powers of Attorney (POAs) are current and properly filed across all relevant jurisdictions.
- • Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring OSV's adherence to all federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws, staying ahead of the curve by monitoring legislative updates and partnering with HRIS, HRBPs, and Benefits teams to implement required changes.
- • As the payroll compliance subject-matter expert for Workday Payroll, you will play a key role in supporting the HRIS team with system configuration and ensuring ongoing compliance.
- • You will actively monitor payroll integrations, promptly escalating any issues to the HRIS team to prevent disruptions.
- • Partnering with HRBPs and HRIS, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of essential payroll reporting and dashboards, providing valuable insights to management.
- • A commitment to continuous improvement is essential; you will routinely evaluate payroll and tax processes, identifying opportunities for enhancement and streamlining, and maintaining comprehensive process documentation and operational manuals.
- • Your role involves significant cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to integrate payroll components into broader HR programs, such as annual bonus payouts, open enrollment, and recognition initiatives.
- • You will forge strong partnerships with Accounting and Finance, providing routine payroll data and reports, and collaborate with IT for essential support of the TaxEx system.
- • You will facilitate both internal and external audits by providing accurate records, documentation, and expert insights, ensuring a smooth and transparent audit process.
- • Prepare and maintain meticulous records and reports for various projects, audits, and ad hoc requests, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
- • This position offers a unique opportunity to shape and refine OSV's internal payroll and tax operations, driving efficiency, compliance, and strategic value.
