📋 Description

  • • Manager, Employee Relations (PH) at The Walt Disney Company – a critical role ensuring equitable, inclusive, and respectful employee experiences across TV productions and corporate areas, directly supporting Disney’s culture and values.
  • • Day to day: Conduct complex workplace investigations (discrimination, harassment, retaliation, etc.), lead witness interviews and document reviews, draft investigation documents, input cases into ER databases, manage disability accommodations and leaves, guide HRBPs on performance management, provide crisis support, deliver policy training, analyze ER case data for trends, and collaborate with HR, Legal, Security, DEI, and leadership teams.
  • • About the team or company: Part of Disney General Entertainment’s Employee Relations function, supporting 20th Television, 20th Animation, FX, and occasionally other Disney Entertainment studios and corporate shared services; operates with high autonomy and cross-functional influence.
  • • What the person can learn or achieve: Deepen expertise in employment law, workplace investigations, and ER strategy; influence organizational culture and policy; develop leadership in high-stakes, sensitive employee matters; gain experience in data-driven ER risk prevention and cross-studio collaboration within a global entertainment leader.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 6 years Human Resources experience, and/or 5 years in Employee Relations required
  • • Demonstrated experience leading a wide variety of complex employee investigations and providing employee relations consultations with little supervision
  • • Advanced understanding of employment and HR related laws, regulations, policies, principles, concepts and practices, including Title VII, ADA, ADAA, FMLA and Canadian provincial/territorial labor laws
  • • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • • Bachelor’s Degree required

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Hiring range: $132,500.00 to $186,200.00 per year
  • • Bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package
  • • Full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on level and position offered
