- • The Manager, Exam Development leads the creation of high-quality, legally accurate multiple-choice and essay questions for bar exam preparation, ensuring exam materials reflect current legal standards and support Kaplan’s mission to help individuals succeed on the bar exam.
- • Day to day, the role involves developing and refining exam questions, conducting legal research to verify accuracy, managing a team of content drafters, reviewing and editing content for clarity and compliance, integrating feedback, updating materials to reflect legal changes, and meeting project deadlines through collaboration with writers, editors, and supervisors.
- • The role sits within Kaplan Exam Services (KES), part of Kaplan Higher ED, a division of Global Healthcare Consulting, LLC, which specializes in educational content development for legal and professional licensing exams, operating with a strong commitment to quality, confidentiality, and innovation in assessment design.
- • In this role, the individual will deepen their expertise in legal content creation, develop leadership and mentoring skills by managing a team, influence the quality and relevance of high-stakes exam materials, and contribute to educational equity by helping prepare diverse candidates for professional licensure.
🎯 Requirements
- • J.D. (Juris Doctor Degree)
- • 2+ years of experience in the legal industry, specifically in education and/or curriculum design
- • Must have passed the bar exam
- • Demonstrated ability to develop and mentor direct reports
- • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- • Experience writing questions for law school and/or bar exam content (preferred)
