- • Own global billing operations to ensure accurate and timely invoice generation aligned with SaaS contract terms, pricing structures, and booking policies
- • Manage the end-to-end invoicing lifecycle post-Closed Won, including billing setup, validation, and delivery across all regions and customer segments
- • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex billing disputes, exceptions, and customer payment issues
- • Lead collections processes including AR aging, follow-ups, dispute resolution, and cash application to ensure timely cash realization
- • Monitor and drive performance against key metrics such as DSO, past due balances, and collection effectiveness
- • Ensure seamless alignment between Salesforce, NetSuite, and contract data to minimize revenue impact and billing errors
- • Own and continuously improve billing and accounts receivable processes to drive scalability, efficiency, and automation
- • Standardize billing workflows across global entities, regions, and customer types to ensure consistency and compliance
- • Partner with RevOps and Deal Desk to enable seamless transition from deal structure to billing execution
- • Collaborate with Sales teams to resolve payment delays and customer escalations related to invoicing
- • Work closely with Revenue Accounting to ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards (e.g., ASC 606) and audit requirements
- • Maintain SOX-compliant billing and AR controls, including documentation, walkthroughs, and issue resolution for external audits
- • Ensure adherence to global tax, invoicing, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Global Billing Operations team with clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations
- • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-focused operational excellence
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in billing operations or finance operations, preferably in SaaS or technology
- • 3+ years of people management experience
- • Strong Order to Cash experience
- • Strong experience with NetSuite and Salesforce
- • Deep understanding of billing processes, invoicing structures, and collections workflows
- • Experience operating in a high-growth, complex deal environment
