- • As a Manager, Growth Partnerships at Coinbase, you will be at the forefront of driving economic freedom globally by forging groundbreaking strategic alliances. This pivotal role is designed for a highly motivated individual to spearhead business development efforts focused on top cross-product growth partnership opportunities. You will serve as the primary business lead for the Growth organization and a key champion for strategic corporate partnerships, acting as a versatile and strategic operator ready to spearhead new initiatives for Coinbase.
- • Coinbase is evolving into the 'Everything Exchange,' offering customers the ability to trade not only cryptocurrencies but also prediction markets, public equities, and token sales. To ensure the success of this ambitious vision, we are investing heavily in the growth and distribution of our Retail app through strategic partnerships with leading entities across traditional media, consumer technology, social media, and other relevant sectors.
- • This is a growth-focused role requiring a seasoned, adaptable, and ambitious leader. You will be the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for formulating partnership strategies and executing deals with large corporations and other key partners. Your efforts will directly contribute to the Growth team’s objectives and will often involve multiple product groups, necessitating complex and multi-dimensional deal-making.
- • A strong foundation in consumer fintech and a genuine passion for trading are essential. You will be expected to rapidly acquire knowledge in other business areas with significant growth potential. The singular focus of this position is to accelerate the growth of Coinbase's Retail business.
- • In collaboration with the Growth team's product managers, you will help define the strategic direction for future partnerships and identify potential partners based on defined criteria. In other instances, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, engaging directly with senior leadership to proactively identify and explore novel opportunities for Coinbase to capture new customers and enhance brand visibility.
- • We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and exceptionally ambitious leader who thrives on ownership, embraces ambiguity, and is adept at navigating diverse business cultures. You will be driven by the opportunity to close transformative deals that pave the way for Coinbase's expansion through new paradigms, ultimately becoming an indispensable business lead.
- • Your responsibilities will include serving as the DRI for partnerships within the Growth team, collaborating closely with Product, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and local country directors to define and implement market-specific partnership strategies.
- • You will be tasked with sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating high-impact partnerships across payments, fintech, consumer tech, and crypto-native platforms to drive the adoption of Coinbase's Retail products.
- • A significant part of your role will involve managing key corporate partnerships that span multiple product groups, such as Consumer & Business, Developer, and Base, ensuring seamless integration and value creation.
- • You will act as a critical thought partner to product teams, contributing valuable market intelligence, competitive insights, and partner feedback to inform and shape product roadmaps.
- • You will lead complex deal negotiations from initial engagement through to successful execution, demonstrating a keen ability to balance speed, creativity, and effective risk management.
- • A core duty will be to meticulously track, measure, and communicate the business impact of all partnerships, taking full ownership of their lifecycle from sourcing and integration to ongoing performance monitoring and optimization.
