- • The Manager of Network Construction leads the implementation and execution of fiber connectivity solutions for clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing all facets of Outside Plant (OSP) projects, resolving roadblocks, tracking and communicating project progress, developing detailed schedules, managing RFP/bidding processes, reviewing contractor invoices, and providing as-built drawings to Fiber Engineering.
- • The role involves providing direction to in-market Project Managers and Construction Managers, taking direct PM responsibility for large, high-profile projects, and supporting customer and interdepartmental meetings.
- • Zayo Group Holdings, Inc. provides mission-critical bandwidth infrastructure across North America and Europe, serving wireless and wireline carriers, media, tech, finance, healthcare, and large enterprises with solutions including dark fiber, private data networks, wavelengths, Ethernet, and dedicated Internet access.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in large-scale telecommunications project management, strengthen leadership and stakeholder communication skills, and gain deep experience in outside plant construction, budget tracking, and compliance reporting within a mission-critical infrastructure environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university preferred
- • Minimum of ten (10) years in the telecommunications industry with outside plant, fiber optics, telecommunication architectures, optical transport equipment, and project management experience
- • Minimum of five (5) years’ managerial experience
- • Must be conversant/have working knowledge of structured cabling, routing, switching, and IP protocols
- • Must have four (4) years familiarity with all types of outside plant construction and experience managing large capital projects
- • Must have the ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
