- • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 1–5 Salesforce developers, administrators, and QA engineers based in India, including hiring, performance reviews, and career development planning.
- • Own end-to-end Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming for the India-based Salesforce team.
- • Serve as the primary technical liaison between US-based and India-based teams to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables across global operations.
- • Partner with Product, Business Systems Analysts, Finance & Revenue Operations, and Sales & GTM teams to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- • Design, develop, and deploy robust Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL, with full ownership of technical architecture.
- • Lead CPQ quoting and pricing rule design, including product catalogs, pricing waterfall configurations, approval workflows, and quote template logic.
- • Architect and manage Salesforce Billing workflows for invoice generation, payment processing, revenue schedules, and integration with Sage Intacct.
- • Drive implementation and enhancements of Revenue Cloud / RLM to align with evolving go-to-market models and revenue recognition standards.
- • Architect and oversee custom API integrations with MuleSoft, DocuSign/Conga, Sage Intacct, Snowflake, and BigQuery for data synchronization and system interoperability.
- • Lead data migration efforts including scoping, data mapping, ETL design, and post-migration validation during org consolidations or platform upgrades.
- • Own Salesforce platform governance: environment strategy, sandbox refresh cycles, release management, and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Salto and Jenkins.
- • Conduct technical design reviews to ensure solutions comply with Salesforce security, performance, and governor limit standards.
- • Oversee the full software development lifecycle from requirements verification through QA, UAT, deployment, and post-production support.
- • Enforce code quality standards, peer review processes, and comprehensive documentation practices across the development team.
- • Manage a QA or quality engineering team, including hiring, performance management, and skills development.
- • Define acceptance criteria in collaboration with Product and Business stakeholders and oversee functional, regression, integration, performance testing, and UAT facilitation.
- • Implement Salesforce-specific testing approaches including Apex unit test coverage, sandbox data seeding, and deployment validation.
- • Utilize test automation frameworks such as Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or Selenium to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- • Track quality metrics and produce test summary reports for leadership and release sign-off.
- • Maintain strong understanding of Salesforce platform governance limits, security model, and deployment best practices.
- • Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and technical excellence within the India-based team.
- • Engage with external clients and vendor partners on integration scoping, solution design, and delivery coordination.
- • Ensure all Salesforce solutions are delivered with precision, scalability, and speed while adhering to global operational standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce configuration and development experience
- • 3+ years of experience leading a team of Salesforce developers and/or administrators
- • Expert-level proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL
- • Proven delivery experience across Sales Cloud, CPQ & Billing, and Revenue Cloud
- • Experience with MuleSoft, DocuSign/Conga, Sage Intacct, Snowflake, and CI/CD tools (Salto, Jenkins)
- • Demonstrated experience managing a QA or quality engineering team
