- • Manager, Outbound Sales Development - SMB role at Lightspeed Commerce Inc. leading the SMB Sales Development function to build and coach a team of SDRs targeting SMB merchants ($500k-$1M GMV) within the NuORDER network, driving outbound pipeline and conversion into AE motion.
- • Day to day responsibilities include designing and executing outbound prospecting strategies, hiring and developing SMB SDRs, delivering 1:1 coaching on discovery and objection handling, owning end-to-end qualification process, defining ICP criteria, monitoring pipeline health metrics, maintaining CRM hygiene, partnering with Account Executives on handoff quality, collaborating with Marketing on messaging alignment, and providing regular performance reporting to the Director of Outbound Sales.
- • The team is part of the growing NuORDER Network Expansion organization, working closely with Director of Outbound Sales, Account Executives, and cross-functional partners including Marketing and RevOps to ensure high-quality pipeline and consistent conversion into AE motion across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce verticals.
- • In this role, the person will learn to build scalable outbound playbooks, refine qualification frameworks using data and feedback, develop coaching expertise for SDR teams, drive pipeline contribution to FY27 MRR targets, and gain leadership experience in a high-growth commerce platform serving over 100 countries.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2–3+ years in sales development or outbound sales, with at least 1 year in a people management role
- • Demonstrated experience running SMB or larger SDR motions focused on delivering quality pipeline
- • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Salesloft, or similar)
- • Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze funnel metrics and make decisions based on pipeline data
- • Proven coaching ability to identify individual rep gaps and tailor development plans
- • Fluency in English as a working language required for this global role
