- • As a Manager, Payroll Implementations - EMEA, you will lead a team of Global Payroll Leads to ensure the successful onboarding and implementation of client payrolls across multiple countries, directly impacting Remote’s mission to simplify global employment compliance.
- • Day to day, you will oversee project delivery, coach and mentor team members, monitor KPIs and SLAs, resolve complex implementation issues, and partner with Sales, Payroll Operations, Product, and Client Success to ensure seamless transitions from implementation to business-as-usual.
- • You will join a fully remote, globally distributed team at Remote, a company dedicated to building the best-in-class HR platform with core values of innovation, autonomy, and asynchronous work, where employees span six continents and are empowered to bring their full selves to work.
- • In this role, you will develop leadership expertise in global payroll operations, drive process improvement and automation initiatives, influence cross-functional strategy, and grow your impact as a strategic leader in a high-growth, mission-driven organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Extensive experience managing global or regional payroll implementations in a complex, high-growth environment
- • Deep understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, from onboarding to compliance handover
- • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and empower high-performing teams with a focus on autonomy and avoiding micromanagement
- • Strong project management and organisational skills, capable of balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with skill in explaining technical or regulatory topics clearly
- • Experience driving process improvement and working with payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday) and tools like Excel or Google Sheets
- • Analytical and solutions-focused mindset, comfortable solving operational challenges and improving systems
- • Comfortable working asynchronously in a distributed, fast-paced environment
- • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
- • Prior remote work experience is considered an advantage but not required
