- • Manager, Payroll Implementations - EMEA is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the successful onboarding and implementation of new client payrolls across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery while driving process innovation and efficiency.
- • Day to day, the person will lead, coach, and mentor a team of Global Payroll Leads, oversee project delivery against KPIs and SLAs, serve as a strategic escalation point for complex issues, and partner with Sales, Payroll Operations, Product, and Client Experience teams to ensure seamless transitions from implementation to business-as-usual.
- • The team operates within Remote Technologies Inc., a fully remote, globally distributed company solving global employment compliance challenges through its HR platform, with team members across six continents and a culture rooted in innovation, autonomy, and asynchronous work.
- • In this role, the person can develop strategic leadership skills in global payroll operations, drive process improvement and automation initiatives, gain cross-functional influence across product and client experience teams, and grow into a key contributor shaping Remote’s global payroll strategy and operational excellence.

- • Extensive experience managing global or regional payroll implementations in a complex, high-growth environment
- • Deep understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, from onboarding to compliance handover
- • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and empower high-performing teams — you value autonomy and avoid micromanagement
- • Strong project management and organisational skills; capable of balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities — able to explain technical or regulatory topics clearly and confidently
- • Experience driving process improvement and working with payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, or similar) and tools like Excel or Google Sheets
