📋 Description
- • Lead and manage high-performing teams responsible for the successful delivery of complex business and technical portfolio and program solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategies and business objectives.
- • Establish and maintain robust standards and frameworks for program/initiative reporting, documentation, portfolio management, requirements definition, and overall program/initiative execution and implementation, driving consistency and quality across the organization.
- • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for business analysis and requirements practices, ensuring clear problem definition, the development of traceable and high-quality requirements, strong alignment to business outcomes, and effective translation of business needs into delivery-ready work products.
- • Cultivate and nurture strong, collaborative partnerships with executive leadership, key business stakeholders, and critical delivery partners, effectively managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring that programs and initiatives, including their scope and requirements, remain strategically aligned with enterprise goals.
- • Facilitate alignment of leadership and processes across the enterprise, proactively identifying and resolving issues that span across delivery, business analysis, and operational teams to ensure seamless execution.
- • Develop comprehensive portfolio and program-level roadmaps and strategies, clearly identifying and communicating enterprise-level dependencies, risks, issues, and sequencing parameters, while also assessing and articulating requirements maturity impacts.
- • Demonstrate a strong aptitude for delivering work within a matrixed environment, effectively multitasking and overseeing the implementation of multiple concurrent initiatives, anticipating and adapting to dynamic changes within the enterprise portfolio, applying rigorous capacity and demand analysis, and defining applicable metrics to accurately measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
- • Leverage advanced portfolio tools and methodologies to optimize portfolio planning, enhance requirements traceability, and generate data-driven insights, providing constructive feedback to continuously improve delivery and business analysis effectiveness across the organization.
- • Build, coach, and mature the business analysis capability within the organization, establishing clear standards for requirements quality, intake processes, prioritization mechanisms, and alignment to value realization, fostering a culture of excellence in business analysis.
- • Drive the strategic direction and operational execution of the portfolio management function, ensuring that all initiatives contribute demonstrably to the company's overarching business objectives and strategic priorities.
- • Oversee the financial health and resource allocation of the portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on time, while maximizing return on investment.
- • Implement and refine best practices in project and program management, adapting methodologies to suit the unique needs of the healthcare industry and Blue Cross NC's specific operational context.
- • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the managed teams, encouraging the adoption of new tools, techniques, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- • Act as a key liaison between business units and technology teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals, progress, and challenges.
- • Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation within the portfolio management lifecycle, driving efficiency and enhancing the value delivered to the organization.
- • Ensure robust risk management strategies are in place and effectively executed across all managed programs and initiatives, mitigating potential threats to successful delivery.
- • Champion the adoption of data-driven decision-making, utilizing portfolio metrics and analytics to inform strategic choices and performance evaluations.
- • Guide teams in navigating complex organizational structures and stakeholder landscapes, ensuring buy-in and support for critical initiatives.
- • Contribute to the development of long-term strategic planning by providing insights into portfolio performance, resource capabilities, and emerging trends.
