- • As the Manager of the Pre-Sales HPE Practice at CDW, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our HPE solutions by leading and developing a high-performing team of account managers and partners.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to guide your team in effectively closing opportunities within the HPE practice, ensuring alignment with CDW's strategic goals and customer needs.
- • You will be a key player in fostering strong collaborative relationships with HPE vendors, working hand-in-hand to craft innovative sales and marketing strategies that accelerate revenue growth and drive product activations.
- • This role demands a strategic mindset to manage available resources effectively, optimizing short-term initiatives while simultaneously developing robust, long-term strategic plans that align with the overarching objectives of CDW.

- • Proactively identify opportunities for process and strategy enhancements within the selling of HPE products and services, collaborating closely with other strategic solution groups to develop integrated internal offerings.
- • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with HPE vendors, actively seeking out new avenues and opportunities to expand sales.
- • Serve as the primary escalation point for customers, ensuring the successful closure of HPE opportunities and the swift resolution of any customer or partner satisfaction issues, thereby reinforcing CDW's commitment to exceptional service.
- • Contribute significantly to the development and execution of comprehensive quarterly and annual sales and operations plans, providing strategic direction and operational oversight.
- • Oversee the monthly and quarterly reporting processes, utilizing key metrics derived from these reports to gain actionable insights and effectively manage the business.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to consistently develop and refine internal and external collateral, aimed at increasing awareness and driving engagement among customers and account managers regarding HPE solutions.
- • Foster and maintain strong internal relationships across various departments, actively seeking new opportunities to build and expand HPE sales within CDW.
- • Achieve profitable growth at rates that consistently outperform market averages, demonstrating a keen understanding of market dynamics and competitive positioning.
- • Develop and articulate a clear long-term vision for the HPE practice, translating this vision into actionable strategic plans designed to achieve ambitious goals.
- • Manage critical vendor relationships, encompassing contract negotiations, joint business planning, collaborative marketing initiatives, executive alignment, sales contests, kick-off events, and recognition programs, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
- • Take full responsibility for the hiring, onboarding, development, and ongoing training of new team members, implementing robust support systems and long-term plans to retain top talent within the organization.
- • This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to inspire and lead a team towards achieving outstanding results in a dynamic technology sales environment.
