📋 Description
- • As Manager Règlement-Livraison et Transferts - Spécialiste PEA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of settlement and transfer processes for Upvest’s investment products in the French market, directly enabling clients to offer compliant, efficient, and user-friendly wealth management solutions.
- • You will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for French PEA (Plan d'Épargne en Actions) operations, overseeing end-to-end post-trade lifecycle management, including clearing, settlement, and asset transfers, while driving process excellence and regulatory adherence.
- • Your work will directly impact the scalability and reliability of Upvest’s infrastructure in France, supporting the company’s mission to democratize investment by enabling fintechs and financial institutions to launch best-in-class wealth products without legacy constraints.
- • You will manage the full lifecycle of settlement and transfer processes across French markets, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant execution of securities movements in line with T+2 standards and local market practices.
- • You will serve as the primary point of contact for client operational teams, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting support on PEA-related inquiries, including corporate actions, tax implications, and transfer procedures, to enhance end-user experience and reduce resolution times.
- • You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Treasury, and Operations teams to design, test, and implement process improvements, leveraging automation and AI-driven tools to increase straight-through processing rates and reduce manual intervention.
- • You will monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as settlement success rates, transfer turnaround times, error rates, and reconciliation discrepancies, using data insights to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- • You will contribute to the development of a best-in-class PEA product offering by identifying operational bottlenecks, proposing enhancements, and ensuring alignment with evolving French and EU regulatory frameworks (including AMF, MiFID II, and CSDR).
- • You will participate in cross-functional projects aimed at scaling Upvest’s settlement and transfer capabilities in France, supporting geographic expansion and product innovation initiatives.
- • You will ensure all operational activities comply with internal policies and external regulations, proactively identifying and mitigating operational, compliance, and settlement risks through rigorous controls and documentation.
- • You will foster strong, trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners (including custodians, CSDs, and clearing houses), acting as a trusted advisor on PEA-specific market mechanics and best practices.
- • You will work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team culture, sharing knowledge and mentoring peers to elevate collective expertise in French post-market operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in PEA transfers and French post-market operations, including hands-on management of settlement and transfer processes.
- • In-depth knowledge of French market rules, regulatory frameworks (AMF, MiFID II, CSDR), and best practices governing PEA products and securities servicing.
- • Native-level French proficiency and fluent English (written and spoken), with proven ability to communicate complex operational concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Strong analytical and investigative skills, with demonstrated ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve settlement failures, transfer errors, and reconciliation discrepancies.
- • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, capable of building and maintaining positive, productive relationships with internal teams and external clients.
- • Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary above market rate, complemented by participation in Upvest’s employee equity program, allowing you to share in the company’s long-term success.
- • 30 days of annual leave plus UpRest — a fully paid one-month sabbatical every four years of service — to support long-term well-being and personal growth.
- • Annual personal development budget and freedom to choose how to invest in your growth, whether through courses, certifications, conferences, or tools.
- • Flexible hybrid work model: option to work from Upvest hubs in Berlin, London, or Tallinn, or remotely from anywhere in Europe (up to 183 days/year abroad), with budget and autonomy to choose your optimal work environment.
- • Access to professional confidential coaching, wellness benefits, and sports allowances to support mental and physical health.
- • Inclusive culture with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) such as Upfem (for women) and UpVergent (for neurodivergent employees and allies), fostering belonging and psychological safety.
- • Regular team celebrations including UpFest, team dinners, seminars, and annual holiday events to strengthen connections and recognize collective achievements.
