  • • Drive SMB sales growth across assigned regional markets by leading a team of up to 10 SMB Regional Sales Consultants, ensuring achievement of net new merchant, cross-sell, and overall revenue targets.
  • • Recruit, train, coach, and retain high-performing sales consultants through structured performance management, compensation planning, and onboarding processes.
  • • Hold sales team accountable for managing assigned leads within agreed service level agreements and response timelines to optimize conversion rates and strengthen relationships with shareholder banks and merchants.
  • • Motivate and develop sales consultants to actively prospect and engage with bankers and customers to exceed sales objectives and maximize revenue generation.
  • • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with shareholder banks and internal teams to align sales strategy with market needs and drive collaborative success.
  • • Provide actionable market feedback to Marketing and Product Development teams to identify gaps in product offerings and recommend improvements for SMB client segments.
  • • Implement and uphold sales management methodologies, processes, and reporting standards to ensure consistent team performance and data-driven decision-making.
  • • Apply strategic thinking to solve business challenges, prioritize opportunities, and drive results in a target-driven, high-pressure sales environment.
  • • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and proficiency in strategic selling techniques to close deals and expand merchant relationships.
  • • Influence and align cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure cohesive execution of sales initiatives and organizational goals.
  • • Constructively address performance issues and team dynamics to maintain a high-performance, accountable sales culture.
  • • Report directly to the Director, SMB Regional Sales, and operate remotely while maintaining alignment with the Etobicoke office.
  • • Manage regional sales operations across Alberta virtual territory, ensuring coverage and execution consistent with company-wide sales strategies.
  • • Monitor team metrics and sales pipeline health to forecast outcomes, identify risks, and adjust strategies to meet or exceed annual targets.
  • • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, coaching, and professional development within the sales team to enhance retention and long-term team effectiveness.
  • • Collaborate with HR and talent acquisition to define hiring criteria and support recruitment of qualified sales professionals aligned with Moneris’ SMB sales goals.
