  • • As a Manager, Sales Development at Achievers Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by leading and developing a high-performing sales development team focused on generating qualified sales opportunities across key markets, with a specific emphasis on leveraging Chinese language skills to engage prospects in targeted territories. This role is critical to scaling Achievers’ market presence and ensuring a consistent pipeline of engaged leads for the Account Executive team, directly contributing to the company’s mission of inspiring employee recognition worldwide.
  • • You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, coaching, and performance management of a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), ensuring alignment with company goals while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, global SaaS environment.
  • • Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor a team of SDRs in Melbourne, Sydney, and Singapore, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to effectively prospect, engage, and qualify leads using phone, email, LinkedIn, and Salesforce.
  • • Develop and execute targeted outbound prospecting strategies, including designing innovative campaigns to reach cold prospects in assigned territories, with a focus on leveraging Chinese language capabilities to penetrate key Asian markets.
  • • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Account Executives to refine lead handoff processes, optimize messaging, and ensure seamless transition of qualified opportunities into the sales pipeline.
  • • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call volume, email response rates, meeting conversion rates, and pipeline contribution, using Salesforce and other sales enablement tools to drive data-informed improvements.
  • • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-energy team culture by recognizing peer achievements, encouraging collaboration, and promoting psychological safety, in alignment with Achievers’ core values of belonging and celebration.
  • • Represent Achievers at trade shows, industry events, and onsite customer meetings, preparing and delivering compelling pitches that highlight the value of the employee recognition and rewards platform.
  • • Achievers is a global leader in employee recognition and rewards software, serving 4.3 million users across 190 countries, with a mission to inspire meaningful workplace recognition that drives engagement, retention, and business results.
  • • The company is committed to building an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace where every employee’s unique perspective is valued, and contributions are celebrated — a culture that empowers A-players to thrive and innovate together.
  • • With headquarters in Toronto and strong regional hubs in Melbourne, Sydney, and Singapore, the sales team operates as a globally connected unit, leveraging cross-border collaboration to deliver localized impact with global scale.
  • • In this role, you will develop advanced leadership and coaching skills, gaining hands-on experience in building and scaling a high-velocity sales development function within a fast-growing SaaS company.
  • • You will deepen your expertise in sales strategy, market expansion, and cross-cultural engagement — particularly through leveraging Chinese language skills to unlock opportunities in APAC markets — positioning yourself for future growth into senior sales leadership or sales operations roles.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • • Minimum 1+ year of sales experience with a proven track record of high performance in outbound prospecting or lead generation
  • • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across cultures
  • • Proficiency in Salesforce and sales engagement tools, with experience tracking leads, managing pipelines, and reporting on key metrics
  • • Strong time management, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment
  • • Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading a team — preferably in a sales or customer-facing context
