  • • Manager, Sales Operations at Samsara Inc. plays a pivotal role in designing, scaling, and elevating the systems, processes, and policies that power the global sales engine, ensuring the sales organization operates with speed, accuracy, and consistency as the company grows past $2B in revenue.
  • • Day to day, the role involves owning and scaling Run-the-Business (RTB) processes, hiring and developing talent, driving operational excellence in account segmentation and territory planning, enhancing workflows with systems and data teams, leveraging Salesforce CRM and advanced Excel for territory and opportunity management, and embedding Samsara’s cultural principles across the sales organization.
  • • Samsara is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, enabling organizations in agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing to harness IoT data for actionable insights, improving safety, efficiency, and sustainability of physical operations that represent over 40% of global GDP.
  • • In this role, the person will have an outsized impact on the future of the sales organization by delivering long-term, transformative solutions that integrate people, process, and technology, while developing leadership skills in scaling sales operations, driving operational excellence, and influencing go-to-market strategy at a high-growth public company.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in sales tools management or related roles
  • • 2+ years of people management experience
  • • Proven success in managing tools and/or processes for large sales teams (1,000+ users)
  • • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools and automation to increase productivity and transform team capacity
  • • Strong project management skills with experience in implementation and ROI measurement
  • • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • • Familiarity with CRM systems, sales automation tools, and productivity software
  • • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field; MBA is optional
