- • As a Manager, Social Content & Community at KAYAK, part of Booking Holdings, you will lead the creation and execution of social content that drives engagement and builds an active community across platforms, directly supporting the company’s mission to make travel search effortless and inspiring for millions of users worldwide.
- • You will own the full social content lifecycle—from ideation and scripting to production and publishing—ensuring all content aligns with brand pillars, resonates with audience culture, and advances marketing objectives through authentic, platform-native storytelling.
- • Day to day, you will develop fresh, innovative content ideas for both ongoing posts and large-scale social-first campaigns, translating concepts into compelling stories by selecting the optimal format (video, image, text, etc.) for each idea and channel.
- • You will adapt KAYAK’s brand voice to feel native on each platform, leveraging your comfort on camera to film, present, and produce content yourself, while also crafting clear scripts and creative briefs for cross-functional teams to execute.
- • You will actively foster community by engaging with followers in real time—responding to comments, DMs, cultural moments, and trends across feeds, the FYP, and Reddit—creating conversations that feel unscripted, genuine, and deeply connected to internet culture.
- • You will assist with monthly reporting and analytics, using performance data to measure content impact, identify trends, and optimize future strategies for greater reach, engagement, and shareability.
- • You will partner closely with internal marketing, creative, and product teams to ensure social content amplifies product launches, travel trends, and company initiatives, turning insights into shareable moments that reflect KAYAK’s innovative spirit.
- • You will contribute to a culture of experimentation and agility, where bold ideas are tested quickly, and learnings are applied rapidly to keep KAYAK at the forefront of social media innovation in the travel space.
- • The team operates within KAYAK’s North America marketing organization, a collaborative, fast-paced group that values creativity, cultural fluency, and data-informed decision-making, all rooted in the company’s broader mission to empower global travel.

- • A sharp editorial instinct for transforming information and ideas into compelling social content that lands with audiences, whether for product launches, travel trends, or company announcements.
- • Proven experience in content production, including comfort both behind and in front of the camera, with the ability to take an idea from concept to polished, publish-ready asset.
- • A demonstrable track record of creating unexpected, effective content ideas that drive organic sharing—not just performative or box-checking posts.
- • A strong, diverse portfolio of high-performing social media work that showcases creativity, platform fluency, and audience engagement.
- • Deep immersion in internet culture, with fluency in current trends, memes, and the ability to use social media as a tool to spark authentic conversation.
- • Strong familiarity with in-app creator tools across platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels) and proficiency in video production tools such as After Effects and Premiere Pro, along with basic graphic design principles.
