- • As a Manager of Strategic Implementation at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), you will lead a team of project management professionals to drive enterprise-wide initiatives that improve healthcare value, operational efficiency, and patient and colleague experiences. This role is critical to advancing LVHN’s mission of delivering exceptional, safe, and innovative care by translating strategic goals into actionable plans through standardized processes, cross-functional collaboration, and data-informed decision-making. You will serve as a strategic partner to leadership, ensuring alignment between departmental efforts and organizational objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and reliability.
- • On a day-to-day basis, you will: manage and coach a team of project managers to support key initiatives and strategic projects; design, plan, deliver, evaluate, and continuously support project management needs using tools like ServiceNow to track progress and ensure standardized reporting; develop and deploy operational departmental processes to standardize workflows and enhance client delivery satisfaction; build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making and incorporate feedback mechanisms; cultivate a professional peer network through engagement with relevant industry organizations; and stay current on healthcare industry trends, leading-edge portfolio and project management practices, and take on additional assignments as directed by leadership.
- • You will be part of the CSS-Performance Improvement department within LVHN, a nationally recognized health network ranked among the "Best Hospitals" by U.S. News & World Report for 23 consecutive years and a five-time Magnet® Hospital for nursing excellence. 🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Project Management, or a closely related field
- • 5 years of experience in project management
- • 3 years of experience successfully managing large-scale projects
- • Ability to inspire, lead, solve problems, and strategically plan under pressure
- • Strong time-management, decision-making, mentoring, presentation, communication, and conflict management skills
- • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple complex tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
- • Demonstrated resilience, managerial courage, flexibility, ethics, professionalism, and team-building skills including emotional and social intelligence
