- • As the Manager & Talent Enablement Lead, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing programs that significantly accelerate employee effectiveness across the entire organization. Your primary focus will be on owning and evolving company-wide onboarding, developing comprehensive manager enablement initiatives, and leading core talent programs that seamlessly integrate performance expectations into our established operating rhythms. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying needs, designing impactful solutions, and driving their successful implementation.
- • **Company-Wide Onboarding (End-to-End Program Design):**
- • You will conceptualize and architect the overarching vision for Sanity's company-wide onboarding experience, ensuring it is consistent, engaging, and effective for all functions and levels.
- • Take ownership of the full lifecycle of onboarding programs, meticulously managing the journey from pre-boarding activities through the critical first 30, 60, and 90 days of a new hire's tenure. The goal is to guarantee a uniformly high-quality and supportive experience for every new team member.
- • Design and implement performance-based frameworks that clearly define success metrics and expected outcomes at the 30, 60, and 90-day milestones, providing clear guidance for both new hires and their managers.
- • Equip managers with the essential guidance, clear expectations, and practical tools they need to effectively onboard and integrate new team members into their respective teams.
- • Establish robust feedback loops for new hires and implement continuous improvement cycles to refine and enhance the onboarding process based on real-time insights.
- • Develop and maintain comprehensive manager-facing toolkits, detailed playbooks, and readily accessible resources to support consistent and effective onboarding practices.
- • Collaborate closely with the People Operations team to ensure seamless logistical execution of all onboarding activities.
- • **Manager Enablement & Capability Building:**
- • Design and deliver foundational manager training programs that equip leaders with essential skills for team management, development, and performance.
- • Create practical, actionable tools and resources focused on effective feedback delivery, performance management strategies, and impactful coaching techniques.
- • Systematically embed leadership expectations that are deeply rooted in Sanity's core company values, ensuring alignment and consistent application of our cultural principles.
- • Partner with People Business Partners (PBPs) to proactively identify and address manager capability gaps that may surface during talent review processes.
- • Build scalable enablement solutions, including comprehensive toolkits, detailed playbooks, interactive workshops, and self-paced asynchronous learning resources, to support managers at all levels.
- • **Talent Programs & Performance Infrastructure:**
- • Provide critical support for calibration sessions and talent review processes, ensuring fairness and consistency in talent assessments.
- • Develop clear and concise resources that articulate “what great looks like” for various roles and levels within the organization, fostering a shared understanding of performance standards.
- • Partner with relevant teams during promotion and performance cycles to reinforce clarity around expectations and career progression.
- • Integrate key talent insights and data into our operating rhythms, aligning talent development with business reviews and strategic objectives.
- • **Measurement & Continuous Improvement:**
- • Design and implement key success metrics to effectively measure the impact and effectiveness of both onboarding programs and manager enablement initiatives.
- • Diligently track critical new hire metrics, including ramp time, retention rates, engagement levels, and qualitative feedback, to assess program success.
- • Develop methods to assess manager capability, linking it directly to tangible performance outcomes and team development.
- • Leverage data-driven insights to continuously iterate, refine, and improve all talent enablement programs, ensuring they remain relevant and impactful.
