- • Aledade is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager, Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting to join our dynamic finance team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping and executing our financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and preparing for future SEC filings. You will be at the forefront of technical accounting research, policy development, and the meticulous preparation of financial statements, playing a crucial role in Aledade's growth and transparency.
- • As the Manager, Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting, your primary responsibility will be to support the accurate and timely preparation of US GAAP financial statements. This includes developing and maintaining robust accounting policies, researching complex accounting issues, and ensuring all financial reporting adheres to the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. You will be a key contributor to the anticipated preparation of Form 10-K and Form 10-Q filings in the future, requiring a forward-thinking approach to financial reporting infrastructure.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves staying abreast of the latest developments from authoritative bodies such as the FASB (Financial Accounting Standards Board), SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), and other relevant standard-setters. This knowledge will be critical in supporting Aledade’s accounting policies and ensuring our financial statement disclosures are comprehensive, accurate, and compliant with evolving regulations. You will proactively research US GAAP, assist in documenting accounting treatment conclusions for a wide range of technical accounting matters, and provide expert guidance on complex areas.
- • Your expertise will be particularly valuable in areas such as revenue recognition, share-based compensation, lease accounting, and other complex or non-routine accounting transactions. You will be responsible for analyzing the accounting implications of new business initiatives, contracts, and transactions, providing clear and concise recommendations to senior management. This includes developing and implementing appropriate accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistent application across the organization.
- • Collaboration is key to success in this role. You will work closely with various internal departments, including operations, legal, and business development, to gather information, understand business activities, and ensure the accurate and complete reporting of Aledade’s financial results. This cross-functional interaction will require strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- • Furthermore, you will coordinate with external consultants on a variety of ongoing and future projects. This includes managing relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and other third-party experts, ensuring seamless integration of their work with Aledade’s internal processes. You will oversee the implementation of new accounting standards and assist in the preparation of technical accounting memos and position papers.
- • The Manager will also play a role in enhancing internal controls and processes related to financial reporting. You will identify areas for improvement, recommend solutions, and assist in the implementation of new systems or procedures to streamline reporting and strengthen compliance. This includes developing and delivering training to finance and accounting staff on technical accounting matters.
