- • As Managing Director of Performance Marketing at Directive Consulting LLC, you will lead the company’s largest business unit, overseeing a $27M–$35M P&L and driving measurable revenue outcomes for mid-market and enterprise B2B clients. This executive role reports directly to the CEO and demands extreme ownership, strategic vision, and a relentless focus on client success, team growth, and financial performance.
- • You will own the end-to-end vision, strategy, and operational execution of the Performance Marketing division, ensuring 100% client goal attainment, 100% net revenue retention (NRR) monthly, and sustained 65%+ gross profit margins. Your leadership will directly impact the quality of work delivered, the scalability of services, and the long-term health of client relationships.
- • Day to day, you will: set and execute the division’s strategic roadmap aligned with company goals; manage and develop 5–6 VP-level direct reports overseeing service lines; monitor financial performance including P&L, margins, and forecasting; drive client retention and expansion initiatives; integrate pricing and resourcing desks via the Stratos tech platform; lead cross-functional collaboration to balance margin optimization with team culture; conduct monthly 1–2 day client and team travel (48-hour trips) for relationship building and performance reviews; foster a culture of extreme ownership, bias for action, and complete transparency; and partner with the CEO to elevate the division as a market-leading B2B marketing engine.
- • You will lead a high-performing, remote-first team of marketing specialists, strategists, and analysts dedicated to delivering revenue-focused campaigns across paid media, SEO, CRO, and marketing automation for Fortune 500 and high-growth B2B brands. 🎯 Requirements
- • 5–10+ years of experience managing agency operations with direct oversight of VP-level leaders
- • Deep, proven expertise in B2B marketing strategy, execution, and performance measurement across paid media, SEO, and demand generation
- • Demonstrated track record of extreme ownership, bias for action, and driving measurable client outcomes in high-performance environments
- • Willingness and ability to travel 1–2 times per month for 48-hour client, team, and event engagements
- • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, gross margins, forecasting, and profitability optimization
- • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to build, motivate, and retain top-tier talent
