📋 Description

• As a Managing Partner in IT Strategy for State and Local Government, you will sustain and grow Gartner Consulting’s relationships with a defined portfolio of clients, advising at the highest strategic level on how technology enables business outcomes across sectors including digital transformation, cloud strategy, and security.
• You will collaborate with Expert Partners and internal teams to deliver custom, project-based engagements that optimize IT performance, guide strategic decisions, and help clients execute on mission-critical priorities in government and public sector environments.
• Gartner’s Consulting business extends its industry-leading IT Research to help CIOs and government leaders translate insights into transformational actions, leveraging global resources to drive impact in public sector innovation and efficiency.
• In this role, you will lead and build high-performing teams, develop tailored solutions using Gartner frameworks, and drive revenue growth by expanding existing accounts and opening new markets in state and local government, particularly in health and human services, transportation, and public safety.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in a well-regarded management consultancy with a focus on project delivery, sales, or business development
• Proven experience working with state and local government clients, including opening new markets and expanding existing accounts
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and build high-performing teams that leverage technology to drive mission-critical priorities in government or commercial settings

• Competitive compensation with base salary range of $188,000 - $248,000 USD, plus annual bonus or uncapped sales incentive based on performance
