📋 Description

• Join Fluxon as a Manual QA Engineer and become the last line of defense between world-class products and real-world users. You will own the quality strategy for products used by millions, working shoulder-to-shoulder with ex-Googlers and serial entrepreneurs who have already scaled companies to IPO.
• Own end-to-end test planning and execution for multiple concurrent client engagements—ranging from stealth-mode startups to marquee names like Google and Stripe—ensuring every feature ships with confidence and zero critical defects.
• Translate complex product requirements and user stories into exhaustive test cases, edge-case scenarios, and exploratory test charters that uncover issues before customers ever see them.
• Execute both functional and non-functional testing (UI/UX, usability, accessibility, performance, cross-browser, cross-device) across web and mobile platforms, documenting results in tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Notion so the entire team has real-time visibility.
• Collaborate daily with product managers, designers, and engineers in fast-moving Agile sprints, participating in planning, stand-ups, demos, and retros to inject quality thinking from day one rather than at the end.
• Champion a “shift-left” mindset: write acceptance criteria, perform early design reviews, and run risk-based testing to prevent bugs rather than just catch them, saving clients time and money.
• Build and maintain lightweight regression suites that can be executed quickly before every release, balancing thorough coverage with the rapid iteration speed demanded by high-growth startups.
• Reproduce, isolate, and triage incoming bug reports from customer success, analytics alerts, and internal stakeholders, turning chaotic feedback into clear, actionable tickets with reproducible steps, screenshots, logs, and severity ratings.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing defect trends, measuring test effectiveness, and presenting data-driven recommendations that shape product roadmaps and engineering best practices.
• Act as the voice of the user during every stage of development, advocating for polish, accessibility, and intuitive experiences that delight customers and differentiate our clients in crowded markets.
• Contribute to Fluxon’s internal QA guild—sharing test heuristics, tooling tips, and domain knowledge—so the entire company levels up and delivers consistent, exceptional quality across all projects.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on manual QA experience on consumer-facing web or mobile products, with a track record of shipping high-quality releases in fast-paced Agile environments.
• Deep understanding of software testing fundamentals—test case design, bug isolation, regression strategy, risk-based testing, and exploratory testing techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise bug reports and test documentation that enable engineers to reproduce issues quickly and prioritize fixes accurately.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote, globally distributed team; strong written and verbal English communication skills, plus the self-discipline to thrive in an asynchronous culture.
• Nice-to-have: experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1), API testing via Postman or similar, SQL for data validation, or early-stage startup environments.
