  • • As a Market Area Manager for Credit Acceptance, you will be at the forefront of our company's growth and revenue generation, operating as a key outside sales professional within your assigned geographic territory. This role is crucial for expanding our reach and strengthening our market presence by identifying and enrolling new automotive dealerships, cultivating robust, long-term relationships with existing clients, and providing strategic consultation to help dealers enhance their business operations.
  • • You will be responsible for prospecting and identifying potential automotive dealerships within your territory that align with Credit Acceptance's business model and growth objectives. This involves proactive outreach, networking, and leveraging market intelligence to uncover new business development opportunities.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will be dedicated to account management and client services. You will build and maintain strategic, consultative relationships with your assigned dealers, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor. This includes understanding their unique business needs, challenges, and goals, and demonstrating how Credit Acceptance's products and services can contribute to their success.
  • • You will operate with an entrepreneurial drive, managing your territory as if it were your own small business. This requires a high degree of self-motivation, strategic planning, and dedication to achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • • The role involves consultative selling, where you will conduct detailed needs analyses with dealers, engage in direct communication to present solutions, and adopt a solutions-based mindset to address their specific requirements.

  • • The role requires a minimum of 80% travel within your assigned market to meet with dealers, build relationships, and conduct business development activities. Occasional overnight travel, less than 10%, may also be required.
  • • You will be instrumental in increasing the quality of dealer enrollments, ensuring that new partnerships are strong, sustainable, and mutually beneficial.
  • • By consulting with dealers on how to improve their business, you will not only drive Credit Acceptance's growth but also contribute to the success and profitability of your dealer partners.
  • • Your success will be directly reflected in your compensation, which includes a base salary, uncapped monthly performance-based commission, and quarterly profit sharing, offering significant earning potential based on your impact.
  • • You will be a brand ambassador for Credit Acceptance, embodying the company's values of positivity, respect, insight, directness, and earnestness in all your interactions.
  • • This role is remote, requiring you to reside within or near your assigned territory in Wisconsin – North Milwaukee, WI.
  • • You will leverage your understanding of the automotive industry, particularly the retail operations of automobile dealerships, and potentially your existing relationships with dealers in the defined territory to accelerate your success.
  • • You will ensure compliance with all company policies, processes, and legal guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.
  • • You will be expected to attend to all other duties as assigned and maintain consistent attendance as required by the department, demonstrating reliability and commitment.
  • • The company fosters a world-class culture shaped by dedicated team members who share a drive to succeed, and this role is integral to that success.
  • • You will contribute to Credit Acceptance's mission of being one of the largest used car finance companies nationally by expanding our network of quality dealer partners.
  • • This position offers a unique opportunity to combine your sales acumen with a consultative approach, making a tangible impact on both dealer businesses and Credit Acceptance's market leadership.
