📋 Description
- • Nest Health is revolutionizing healthcare by providing comprehensive, value-based care specifically designed for families, with a particular focus on those facing the highest risks. Our mission is to make medical, behavioral, and social care radically accessible, ensuring that every family has the support they need to thrive. Founded in 2022 by Dr. Rebekah Gee, a practicing OB-GYN and former Secretary of Health, and Rebecca Kavoussi, Nest is pioneering a unique in-home and virtual care model. This model encompasses primary adult and pediatric care, crucial mental health and nutrition support, essential vaccinations and lab services, immediate same-and-next-day acute visits, proactive chronic condition management, seamless transitions of care, and vital social services navigation. Our innovative approach has already secured significant partnerships, enabling us to deliver care to thousands of families across our operational markets. With this strong foundation, Nest is poised for national expansion, aiming to bring our transformative care model to families throughout the United States.
- • As a healthcare startup, Nest Health offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where innovation and impact are paramount. We embrace a culture that encourages creativity, solution-oriented thinking, and empowers every team member to have their voice heard. While this environment demands flexibility, accountability, and self-sufficiency, it also presents unparalleled opportunities for professional growth and the chance to be at the forefront of disrupting the U.S. healthcare system. Team members can expect a broad scope of responsibilities, often requiring them to wear multiple hats and manage diverse tasks. This role offers extensive learning opportunities, allowing individuals to step outside their defined roles and gain exposure to new areas and functions. The rapid pace of startup life means adapting to quick changes in systems and processes, fostering resilience and agility. High autonomy is expected, with less formal structure than larger organizations, necessitating asynchronous learning and the proactive identification of needs or gaps. Collaboration is key, as building and refining processes to improve patient care relies heavily on effective communication and mutual support. This involves frequent feedback exchange and the ability to articulate challenges and opportunities clearly.
- • The Market Operations Lead is a critical role designed to fortify the clinical and operational infrastructure of the Nest model. This position is instrumental in driving efficient workflows, ensuring the reliability of our systems, and upholding the consistently high quality of care we provide. You will be instrumental in shaping the daily operations of our markets, proactively removing obstacles, optimizing existing processes, and ensuring our dedicated teams are equipped with the resources they need to deliver exceptional care to the families we serve. As an integral part of the local market team, you will actively contribute to fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing market culture. Your leadership and influence will be key in enhancing team engagement, driving operational excellence, and improving the overall experience for both our staff and the families who rely on us. This role also involves supporting a broad spectrum of essential operational functions that are vital for the smooth running of our clinics and for delivering care with unwavering consistency, compassion, and reliability.
- • Through your dedication to efficiency, collaborative spirit, and service-oriented approach, you will cultivate a dependable and supportive environment where team members can flourish and families feel genuinely cared for. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact, contribute to the evolution of a groundbreaking care model, and play a pivotal role in driving the success and scalability of Nest's vital mission. Your responsibilities will include maintaining essential office operations, such as managing clinical and office supplies, processing invoices, and coordinating with landlords and administrative vendors. You will oversee the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring they have all necessary equipment, system access, and resources in place from day one. A key duty involves diligently following up on all Redeterminations and ensuring the completion of eligibility work to maintain patient access to care. You will serve as a SuperUser for our core systems, Salesforce and Athena, providing essential guidance and troubleshooting support to the local team, thereby enhancing system utilization and efficiency. Furthermore, you will manage mileage tracking and related audits, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies. In support of clinical operations, you will maintain lab binders, perform quality controls, and ensure adequate stock levels of clinical supplies. You will also manage our VFC and commercial vaccine programs in close partnership with the Health Services Department. Depending on your background, you may provide crucial backup support to Family Advocate teams in both office and field settings. Additionally, you will be responsible for building clinical team schedules, managing PTO requests, and ensuring appropriate staffing coverage to meet all operational goals and maintain seamless patient care delivery.
