- • The Marketing Director, Oncology at Amgen will play a pivotal role in executing and supporting the US commercial strategy for patient impact extension (PIE) opportunities, including upcoming line extensions for BLINCYTO, translating global strategy into actionable US plans and ensuring strong pre-launch readiness, early commercialization success, and inline execution for a critical priority brand.
- • Day to day, the role involves supporting launch strategy and execution, developing brand strategy and tactical materials, generating customer and market insights, leading cross-functional leadership across Sales, Medical, Market Access, and other teams, enabling field teams with training and promotional materials, and ensuring operational excellence through agency management, KPI tracking, and compliance adherence.

- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in oncology product launches, deepen strategic and analytical capabilities in translating clinical data into compelling messaging, strengthen influence in matrixed organizations, and gain exposure to global brand strategy localization and complex specialty market dynamics, positioning them for senior leadership in pharmaceutical marketing.
🎯 Requirements
- • Doctorate degree and 4 years of marketing experience OR Master’s degree and 7 years of marketing experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of marketing experience
- • 5+ years of progressive commercial experience within biopharma/biotech
- • Experience supporting a product launch or major indication expansion, ideally in oncology or specialty markets
- • Ability to translate clinical data and scientific concepts into clear, differentiated messaging
- • Demonstrated success working in a cross-functional, matrixed environment with strong communication and influence without direct authority
- • Oncology experience preferred; prostate cancer experience a plus
