  • • As the Marketing Operations Manager at Sitemate, you will be the architect and guardian of our marketing technology stack, ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of the systems that power our growth engine. This pivotal role is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our core marketing platforms, including Salesforce, Unify, and Freckle, along with other adjacent tools. Your primary mission is to build and maintain the operational plumbing that ensures the top of the marketing funnel runs like a well-oiled machine, enabling our teams to execute marketing strategies at scale and with precision.
  • • You will be instrumental in creating scalable, programmatic marketing execution by meticulously managing system configurations, implementing robust automation, and developing well-documented playbooks. This proactive approach will prevent small upstream changes from cascading into broken processes, data inconsistencies, or lost operational leverage. By ensuring the integrity and tightness of our data across the entire top-of-funnel, you will empower the GTM Ops and broader marketing teams to move faster and more confidently towards achieving our ambitious growth targets.
  • • A key responsibility will be to build, stitch, and maintain complex automations. This includes, but is not limited to, lead nurturing flows, intelligent lead routing mechanisms, intent-triggered outbound campaigns, and seamless campaign enablement processes. Your expertise in automation will be crucial in streamlining workflows, reducing manual effort, and ensuring that our marketing efforts are both timely and impactful.
  • • You will act as the central point of contact for ensuring data integrity across our marketing systems. As new channels, programs, and system tweaks are introduced, you will be responsible for validating that data remains clean, accurate, and consistent, providing a reliable foundation for reporting and decision-making. This involves a deep understanding of how data flows through our systems and the potential impact of any changes.
  • • Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will partner closely with the Marketing and GTM Ops teams to translate strategic objectives, playbooks, and frameworks into tangible, executable systems. This requires a strong ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions within our marketing technology stack.
  • • You will be empowered to switch programs on and off, iterate on existing flows, and meticulously clean up legacy or broken logic, always with a systems-first mindset. This involves a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they impact performance.
  • • To foster repeatability and leverage across the team, you will be responsible for comprehensively documenting all systems, use cases, and operating procedures. This documentation will serve as a critical resource for onboarding new team members, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring consistent application of our marketing operations best practices.
  • • The challenges in this role stem from the dynamic nature of a high-growth tech company. Small upstream changes in complex systems like Salesforce can quickly cascade and break downstream processes if not managed with extreme care and foresight. Scaling our marketing channels and increasing SDR headcount inherently adds complexity to the top-of-funnel systems, requiring constant vigilance and adaptation.
  • • You will need to strike a delicate balance between enabling rapid experimentation and maintaining system stability and data quality. This means implementing changes thoughtfully, with robust testing and rollback plans, to ensure that our pursuit of growth doesn't compromise the reliability of our operational infrastructure.
  • • This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys being deeply involved in the intricacies of system configuration, automation logic, and the underlying mechanics of marketing technology. You are a systems- and automation-oriented operator who finds satisfaction in building the essential glue and piping that enables marketing success behind the scenes.
  • • If you thrive on structured, programmatic work and have a background in CRM Ops, GTM Ops, or Marketing Operations, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape and optimize the operational backbone of a rapidly growing SaaS company.
  • • Conversely, this role is not for someone primarily motivated by creative copywriting or campaign ideation, nor is it for individuals expecting a high-touch leadership position or a role focused on taste-driven decision-making in areas like design or copy.   • • You will be a key player in ensuring Sitemate's marketing efforts are efficient, scalable, and data-driven, directly contributing to our continued success in modernizing the built world.
