📋 Description
- • Own the roadmap and day-to-day health of Pipedrive’s core marketing technology stack, including Segment (Customer Data Platform), Gainsight PX (Digital Adoption Platform), Vero/Custom.io (Marketing Automation) and Optimizely/Funnel.io (experimentation & data aggregation). You will be the single source of truth for how these systems are configured, integrated and governed.
- • Translate complex business objectives into crisp technical specifications that engineering and data teams can implement with confidence. You will run discovery workshops with demand-gen, lifecycle, product marketing and revenue operations, then turn fuzzy requirements into user stories, data schemas, event taxonomies and API contracts.
- • Configure, test and deploy in-platform features end-to-end: audience segmentation rules, event triggers, journey orchestrations, A/B tests, in-app guides and real-time personalisation. You will also own release management, QA and rollback procedures to guarantee 99.9 % uptime for campaigns that touch millions of users.
- • Act as the bridge between marketers who speak KPIs and engineers who speak code. You will run fortnightly “MarTech office hours”, maintain a living Confluence space, and create lightweight Loom videos that demystify new capabilities for non-technical stakeholders.
- • Continuously audit data quality, consent compliance (GDPR, CCPA) and platform costs. You will set up automated alerts for schema drift, duplicate events and budget overruns, then lead root-cause analysis and remediation sprints with Data Engineering and Legal.
- • Partner with our Enterprise Architect to blueprint the “target state” MarTech stack for the next 24 months. You will evaluate emerging vendors, run proof-of-concepts, build ROI models and present recommendations to senior leadership that balance innovation, risk and total cost of ownership.
- • Champion operational excellence by documenting run-books, defining SLAs and instituting change-management rituals. Your goal is to shrink campaign deployment time from days to hours and reduce “how-to” support tickets by 50 % within your first year.
- • Mentor junior marketing operations specialists and analysts, upskilling them on SQL, JavaScript snippets and platform-specific best practices. You will also host quarterly lunch-and-learns to share MarTech trends, customer case studies and lessons learned from failed experiments.
- • Measure and communicate impact. You will build dashboards that connect MarTech initiatives to pipeline, ARR and customer LTV, then present quarterly business reviews to the CMO and Vista Equity board advisors.
- • Stay hands-on. Whether you are writing a JSON schema for a new event, debugging a webhook or configuring a Braze canvas, you are comfortable rolling up your sleeves and leading by example.
