đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Master Production Scheduler at Arxada, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth, reliable, and efficient execution of production planning within the Nutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE) organization, directly impacting global supply chain performance and business continuity.
  • • You will build, manage, and optimize the master production schedule by aligning sales forecasts, inventory levels, operational constraints, and production plans, using data-driven insights to maintain flow and responsiveness across a complex, multinational manufacturing network.
  • • Day to day, you will lead demand analysis by challenging forecasts using MAPE and BIAS metrics, facilitate monthly Demand SIOP meetings, and translate commercial plans into actionable production schedules that balance service levels with resource constraints.
  • • You will create and maintain SAP process orders, develop rolling 18‑month production plans, and adjust them dynamically based on Supply SIOP outcomes, ensuring alignment between demand signals and manufacturing capacity.
  • • You will proactively resolve supply, demand, and capacity conflicts by optimizing labor and equipment utilization, managing purchase requisitions, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring timely goods receipt and invoice processing to prevent disruptions.
  • • You will drive inventory optimization initiatives, targeting the reduction of aged and blocked stock while improving accuracy across raw, semi‑finished, and finished goods through root cause analysis and cross-functional coordination.
  • • You will coordinate intercompany and internal plant shipments, ensuring material flows are accurate, system signals are correct, and logistics execution supports schedule integrity across Arxada’s 24 production sites.
  • • You will collaborate closely with Operations, Procurement, Production Planning, Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective communication across the entire value chain, acting as a central hub for planning integrity.
  • • You will contribute to continuous improvement by presenting data clearly, identifying trends, and supporting process enhancements that increase efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen Arxada’s competitive position in specialty chemicals and performance materials.
  • • You will gain deep exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations in a global, regulated industry, developing expertise in SIOP, SAP, demand planning, and inventory management while working within a purpose-driven organization committed to sustainability and innovation.
  • • You will have the opportunity to grow professionally in a stable, multinational environment where your analytical rigor, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are valued, with potential pathways into broader supply chain leadership roles across Arxada’s global footprint.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field
  • • Advanced experience in supply chain, logistics, or production planning, preferably in a manufacturing or chemical industry environment
  • • Strong proficiency in SAP and MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with proven ability to build and analyze complex planning models
  • • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to present data clearly to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
  • • Business-fluent German (minimum B2 level) and strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • • APICS CPIM certification is preferred but not required
  • • Demonstrated strengths in adaptability, collaboration, problem-solving, communication, and driving results in cross-functional teams

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Opportunity to work with a global leader in specialty chemicals serving over 100 countries, with exposure to diverse markets and complex supply chains
  • • Access to professional development resources and support for certifications like APICS CPIM to advance your expertise in production planning and inventory management
  • • Collaborative, inclusive culture within an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion across all dimensions of identity
