- • Handle the preparation, packaging, and shipping of manufactured materials and parts from Crusoe’s manufacturing shops to job sites, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- • Collaborate with the transportation coordinator to adhere to shipping schedules, prepare shipping invoices and packing slips, and identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency.
- • Load and unload outgoing shipments using proper techniques to prevent damage, ensuring all materials are securely packaged and labeled.
- • Inspect all incoming and outgoing inventory for accuracy, quality, and completeness, documenting discrepancies such as damages, overages, or shortages.
- • Tag all materials with required identification information and use pallet jacks or forklifts to move inventory throughout the shop and between loading areas.
- • Complete all quality check sheets to company standards before final packaging and photograph projects to maintain a documented quality history.
- • Update status boards with current inventory and shipping status to support team transparency and operational planning.
- • Uphold Crusoe’s safety policies and procedures in a designated safety-sensitive facility, actively participating in required drug and alcohol programs.
- • Provide input to management regarding staffing, hiring, and operational improvements to enhance team performance and workflow.
- • Train and support new team members on material handling procedures, safety protocols, and documentation requirements to foster a collaborative team culture.
- • Lift and carry items up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, stooping, bending, and using arms and hands for the full duration of the workday.
- • Ensure compliance with all company policies, including passing a comprehensive background check prior to employment.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in material flow, packaging, or shipping processes and recommending solutions.
- • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and shipping documentation to support audit readiness and operational accountability.
- • Work closely with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure seamless coordination between production output and outbound shipment timelines.
- • Follow ISO 9001:2015 standards where applicable and utilize ERP software (e.g., Infor Visual, Acumatica) to track inventory and shipping data.
