- • Design, build, and maintain MCP servers and MCP-based integrations for AI-powered backend systems used internally across products and teams.
- • Implement MCP tools, resources, prompts, and backend interfaces to enable reliable communication between AI agents, tools, and backend services.
- • Define clean contracts for MCP tools and services to ensure stability, predictability, and maintainability of AI-tool interactions.
- • Develop production-ready backend services using TypeScript and Node.js with frameworks such as Hono, Fastify, NestJS, or Next.js backend/API routes.
- • Build and deploy lightweight, performant services on Cloudflare Workers, adhering to edge runtime limitations and best practices.
- • Utilize Cloudflare services including KV, Durable Objects, Queues, R2, or D1 to optimize backend performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- • Design and implement REST APIs, internal endpoints, and service-to-service integrations with proper authentication, request validation, error handling, logging, and observability.
- • Build AI-powered workflows and internal automation tools by designing prompts, system instructions, and tool definitions to improve consistency and predictability of LLM outputs.
- • Analyze AI workflow failures and iteratively improve prompts, context structure, and tool contracts to enhance LLM performance.
- • Integrate AI agents with real business systems through secure, observable, and maintainable backend flows connecting internal tools, APIs, and automation pipelines.
- • Develop internal utilities and developer tooling to streamline engineering workflows and reduce repetitive operational tasks.
- • Investigate and resolve issues across MCP infrastructure, backend services, Cloudflare Workers, AI workflows, and API integrations.
- • Improve logging, monitoring, and observability for AI and backend systems to enable faster root cause analysis and system reliability.
- • Document technical decisions, implementation details, and system architectures clearly for team alignment and long-term maintainability.
- • Work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and internal stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly AI-powered tools.
- • Write clean, maintainable, production-quality code with strong attention to structure, error handling, and testability.
- • Operate independently in a remote environment with high ownership over technical decisions and delivery outcomes.
- • Contribute to the evolution of internal developer platforms and automation systems that support AI-driven product development.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong experience with TypeScript
- • Strong experience with Node.js
- • Experience building backend services or APIs
- • Experience with at least one backend framework such as Hono, Fastify, NestJS, or Next.js backend/API routes
- • Experience with Cloudflare Workers or similar serverless/edge environments
