• • Day-to-day responsibilities include processing hospital and professional medical bills according to multi-state schedules and regulations, applying PPO contract discounts, reviewing operative reports for appropriate surgery billing, analyzing complex medical, legal, and consult services, contacting providers for missing information, handling fee schedule and contractual disputes through appeals, communicating issues to management, and assisting team leads with workflow, coaching, mentoring, and training new staff.
