- • The Medical Bill Coordinator role at Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. is essential for ensuring accurate and compliant review of medical bills in workers’ compensation cases, directly supporting fair claims resolution and financial integrity for injured workers and employers.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include processing hospital and professional medical bills according to multi-state schedules and regulations, applying PPO contract discounts, reviewing operative reports for appropriate surgery billing, analyzing complex medical, legal, and consult services, contacting providers for missing information, handling fee schedule and contractual disputes through appeals, communicating issues to management, and assisting team leads with workflow, coaching, mentoring, and training new staff.
