- • The Medical Billing and Follow Up role at TruBridge is critical to ensuring accurate and timely resolution of billing disputes, directly impacting customer satisfaction and the organization’s financial integrity by investigating, analyzing, negotiating, and resolving consumer and commercial billing issues and complaints.
- • Day to day, the individual will investigate billing discrepancies, analyze root causes of complaints, negotiate settlements within authorized limits, document all interactions and resolutions, adjust customer accounts accordingly, and report findings to support continuous improvement in billing processes.
- • TruBridge is a healthcare revenue cycle management company dedicated to helping providers optimize financial performance through innovative technology and expert services, operating with a mission to simplify healthcare economics for patients and providers alike.
- • In this role, the person will develop deep expertise in healthcare billing regulations, negotiation techniques, and dispute resolution, gaining valuable experience in customer advocacy, financial reconciliation, and process improvement within a growing remote-first organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in medical billing, healthcare reimbursement, or patient account resolution
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret billing codes, EOBs, and insurance policies
- • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to resolve customer complaints professionally and empathetically
- • Proficiency with healthcare billing systems, EHR/EHR-adjacent platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
- • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high accuracy and productivity
- • Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and state/federal billing regulations
