This role is critical to DexCom’s mission of improving human health through innovative biosensing technology, directly contributing to better patient outcomes and quality of life for individuals managing diabetes.
  • You will engage with physicians, diabetes specialists, and healthcare providers in university and core hospitals to build and nurture long-term relationships, drive product adoption, and support clinical integration of DexCom’s CGM systems through strategic field activities and education initiatives.
  • DexCom is a global leader in CGM technology, committed to transforming diabetes management and expanding into broader consumer health solutions. • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building and maintaining relationships with endocrinologists, diabetes specialists, and diabetes educators in hospital settings; planning and executing nationwide field events aimed at changing prescribing behaviors and expanding patient access; collaborating with marketing teams to refine and implement regional event strategies; supporting product implementation, in-hospital training, and ongoing usage promotion to deepen relationships and increase sales; coordinating quarterly with regional healthcare institutions and sales teams to share progress, address challenges, and optimize sales strategies; and partnering with internal departments such as distribution, marketing, quality, safety, and logistics to streamline communication and ensure smooth execution of field operations.
  • You will collaborate closely with the sales team, including Regional Sales Managers and fellow Territory Business Managers, to identify and engage key stakeholders such as endocrinologists, diabetes nurse educators, and patient advocates; execute brand and field event strategies aligned with national marketing goals; manage key accounts by setting quarterly sales touchpoints and driving relationship growth; serve as a liaison for legal, event management, and regional administrative functions; and continuously improve invitation and communication processes through cross-functional teamwork.
  • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in diabetes care technology, strengthen your ability to influence clinical decision-making through scientific and educational engagement, and grow your strategic account management and territorial planning skills. You will gain experience navigating Japan’s complex healthcare system while representing a cutting-edge medical technology brand at the forefront of digital health innovation.
  • You will also enhance your communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills by delivering compelling product training to healthcare professionals, representing DexCom at diabetes-related conferences and professional forums, and aligning internal teams around consistent messaging and strategy. Success in this role is measured by your ability to build trust with HCPs, drive product awareness and prescription behavior, and contribute to territory growth through data-informed, relationship-driven sales efforts.
