- • As a Meisterbock and Cubing Engineer at Scout Motors, you will play a critical role in ensuring the geometrical quality and precision of components for Scout’s all-electric and Harvester™ range extender powertrain vehicles, directly contributing to the revival of an iconic American brand through innovation in electric rugged SUVs and trucks.
- • Day to day, you will collaborate with series, Meisterbock, and Cubing teams to evaluate measurement point and functional measurement deviations, perform geometrical homologation of in-house built components, match in-house parts with supplier parts, analyze geometrical quality issues from pre-series to end of production, measure and analyze serial pieces to guarantee quality levels, conduct Reference Point System alignments, and generate reports in PiWeb for cross-functional communication.
- • You will join Scout Motors, a company rooted in the legacy of an iconic American vehicle brand, now reimagined with electrification, digitization, and American innovation, where teams are empowered to be visionary, collaborative, and passionate doers shaping the future of transportation.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in advanced metrology, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), vehicle launch processes, and statistical process control, while developing leadership and communication skills by explaining complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders and driving quality improvements across the product lifecycle.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience programming CMM machines and 3D scanners
- • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field or equivalent experience; Master’s degree in engineering preferred
- • Practical experience with Zeiss tactile and optical measurement methods
- • Ability to interpret drawings according to ISO standards and visualize parts in three-dimensional space
