Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Serve as the first human touchpoint for thousands of members navigating complex healthcare cases, making 60–80 outbound calls per day with empathy, clarity, and efficiency to confirm critical details such as legal name, date of birth, requested services, mailing address, emergency contacts, and insurance plan specifics.
  • • Own the integrity of every case file by meticulously cross-referencing data provided by contracted health plans against real-time member responses, flagging discrepancies, and updating internal systems within minutes of each conversation to prevent downstream delays.
  • • Master a repeatable yet personalized outreach cadence—introduce yourself, explain the purpose of the call in plain language, verify HIPAA-compliant identity, and guide members through a concise checklist—while adapting tone and pace for seniors, non-native English speakers, and individuals in distress.
  • • Document every interaction in Salesforce and proprietary CRM tools using standardized call codes, free-text notes, and time stamps, ensuring that Client Services Consultants can pick up the case without re-asking questions or re-verifying information.
  • • Triage member questions that fall outside the scope of verification—billing concerns, benefit explanations, appointment scheduling—by escalating to the appropriate internal specialist and scheduling follow-up callbacks when promised resolutions are delivered.
  • • Execute systematic follow-up campaigns for non-responsive members, leveraging voicemail scripts, bilingual SMS reminders, and staggered call windows to achieve a 75% contact rate within 48 hours of initial outreach.
  • • Collaborate daily with a distributed Client Services team via Slack huddles and weekly Zoom stand-ups to share trends (e.g., frequent address mismatches, common member confusion points) and co-design process improvements that shave minutes off average handle time.
  • • Adhere to strict HIPAA, CMS, and state privacy regulations, completing quarterly compliance e-learning modules and participating in random call audits that maintain a 98% quality assurance score.
  • • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by piloting new call scripts, testing headset hardware, and offering peer feedback that has historically reduced average call duration by 12% and increased member satisfaction scores by 8%.
  • • Maintain a quiet, professional remote workspace with reliable high-speed internet, noise-canceling headset, and dual-monitor setup to ensure seamless call quality and data entry accuracy during peak evening and weekend shifts.

🎯 Requirements

  • • High-school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, communications, or related field preferred
  • • 1+ years of outbound call center, customer service, or healthcare administrative experience
  • • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) strongly preferred; Spanish-language skills qualify for additional pay incentive
  • • Demonstrated ability to type 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy while simultaneously speaking on the phone
  • • Proficiency with CRM or case-management software (Salesforce, Epic, Zendesk, or similar)

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Fully remote, part-time schedule (20–25 hours/week) with flexible morning, afternoon, or evening shifts
  • • Competitive hourly wage plus Spanish-language differential and performance-based bonuses
  • • 100% employer-paid background check and ongoing professional development stipend
  • • Monthly internet reimbursement and one-time $200 home-office equipment allowance
  • • Access to virtual wellness programs, employee assistance plan, and quarterly team-building events
