- • Member Services Representative-Peak Health is a vital role supporting West Virginia University Hospitals’ mission to improve healthcare by serving as the primary point of contact for Peak Health members.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound calls to address member inquiries, verify information, resolve issues, and ensure accurate communication while following organizational policies.
- • The role operates within the Member and Provider Services team, collaborating with management and peers to research and resolve member concerns, maintain service quality, and uphold department standards.
- • This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in healthcare member services, strengthen communication and problem-solving skills, and contribute to a seamless member experience in a growing healthcare organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or GED
- • Two years of customer service experience in a call center environment
- • Excellent written and oral communication, customer service, interpersonal skills, and telephone etiquette
- • Ability to work remotely with reliability, self-motivation, focus, and time management skills
- • Familiarity with medical insurance services processes
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access) and EPIC systems
