- • As a Member Support Specialist, Data Protection (9-Month FTC) at Bumble Inc., you will serve as a guardian of member trust by handling sensitive account and data-related requests with empathy, precision, and integrity, directly contributing to a safer, more respectful community on the platform.
- • Day to day, you will process data subject access requests, deletion requests, and other privacy-related inquiries in compliance with global regulations such as GDPR, while maintaining clear, compassionate communication with members and internal stakeholders.
- • You will be part of Bumble’s Trust & Safety team within Support Operations, a mission-driven group dedicated to upholding the company’s values of Respect and Excellence by safeguarding personal data and ensuring equitable, healthy interactions across the platform.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in data protection compliance, refine your ability to apply judgment in sensitive situations, and gain experience leveraging AI-powered tools to support fair, accurate, and timely outcomes — building transferable skills in privacy, compliance, and member advocacy.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience handling sensitive data or privacy-related requests (e.g., GDPR, data subject access requests)
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information empathetically and clearly
- • Ability to work with precision and integrity when managing confidential information
- • Familiarity with privacy regulations such as GDPR or CCPA
- • Comfort using AI-assisted tools to support decision-making in compliance workflows
