Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of merchandise data, ensuring every SKU, price change, promotion, and inventory update is flawlessly reflected across all e-commerce touchpoints, marketplaces, and retail systems. Your meticulous eye guarantees that what the customer sees is always what they get.
  • • Serve as the primary liaison between merchandising, buying, planning, marketing, and customer service teams—translating creative vision into accurate, shoppable reality while protecting brand integrity and customer trust. You are the connective tissue that keeps cross-functional partners aligned and informed.
  • • Build and maintain master product catalogs, variant matrices, and rich content libraries (copy, imagery, video, specs, SEO tags) in our PIM and CMS platforms; audit daily to catch and correct discrepancies before they reach the customer. Your catalogs become the single source of truth that powers every downstream system.
  • • Coordinate weekly product launches and seasonal drops: schedule go-live windows, stage assets, validate pricing rules, set up promo codes, and monitor site performance in real time to ensure zero-downtime releases. When the countdown hits zero, customers experience seamless discovery and checkout.
  • • Track inventory levels across multiple warehouses and 3PL partners; trigger replenishment alerts, manage back-order communications, and adjust online availability flags to prevent oversells and disappointed shoppers. Your proactive monitoring turns potential stock-outs into upsell opportunities.
  • • Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and ad-hoc reports on sell-through, margin, return rates, and promotional lift; translate raw data into actionable insights that guide markdown timing, bundle offers, and future buys. Executives rely on your dashboards to make million-dollar decisions with confidence.
  • • Maintain the promotional calendar and campaign briefs—ensuring every banner, email blast, and paid ad points to accurate landing pages with correct pricing, inventory counts, and legal disclaimers. You eliminate friction between inspiration and purchase.
  • • Troubleshoot urgent site issues (price mismatches, missing images, broken links) within minutes, not hours, partnering with engineering and QA to implement fixes and document root causes for future prevention. Your calm under pressure protects revenue and reputation.
  • • Champion continuous improvement: propose new automation scripts, data-validation rules, and workflow optimizations that cut manual tasks and free the team to focus on strategic growth initiatives. You turn repetitive clicks into scalable code.
  • • Uphold strict brand and compliance standards—vet product claims, confirm safety certifications, and ensure all published content meets ADA, GDPR, and marketplace-specific guidelines. Your vigilance keeps us on the right side of regulators and customers alike.
  • • Mentor junior coordinators and seasonal interns, creating playbooks and training sessions that scale knowledge and maintain consistency across global markets. Your legacy is a team that performs like you even when you’re offline.
  • • Stay ahead of industry trends in e-commerce merchandising, omnichannel retail, and consumer behavior; share insights in monthly lunch-and-learns and quarterly strategy reviews. You are our early-warning system for what’s next.
  • • Contribute to cross-functional projects such as site redesigns, mobile app enhancements, and international expansion pilots—representing the merchandising perspective and safeguarding data integrity throughout. Your fingerprints are on every major growth milestone.
  • • Celebrate wins: whether it’s a record-breaking launch day, a flawless Black Friday weekend, or a 50-basis-point margin lift from smarter promo stacking, you’ll see the direct impact of your precision and passion on company growth.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, catalog management, or digital operations within a high-SKU retail environment
  • • Demonstrated proficiency with PIM, CMS, and ERP systems (e.g., Salsify, Shopify Plus, Oracle, or similar)
  • • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills—comfortable with pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic SQL queries
  • • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and present findings to stakeholders
  • • Nice-to-have: familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, or Python for lightweight automation and troubleshooting

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Fully remote-first culture with quarterly in-person team gatherings and a generous home-office stipend
  • • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and mental-wellness coverage starting day one, plus 401(k) with company match
  • • Annual professional-development budget ($2,000) and dedicated learning days to attend conferences or pursue certifications
  • • Employee discount on Stitch Fix merchandise and quarterly Fix credits to experience the customer journey firsthand
