- • As a Merchant Service Market Manager at U.S. Bancorp’s Elavon subsidiary, you will drive profitable growth by developing new business relationships and expanding revenue from existing accounts in the Las Vegas, NV market. This role is critical to helping businesses access tailored payment solutions that enable smarter financial decisions, directly supporting U.S. Bank’s mission to empower customers and communities to thrive.
- • You will identify market opportunities by analyzing client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes, then craft and deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight how Elavon’s payment processing, customer service, and innovation capabilities solve real business challenges. Your day-to-day includes proactive outreach, consultative selling, and strategic account management to increase wallet share and customer retention.
- • You will build and maintain a robust referral network and structured call program to consistently generate qualified leads and strengthen partner ecosystems, ensuring a steady pipeline of opportunities across retail, hospitality, healthcare, and professional services sectors in the Las Vegas region.
- • Collaboration is key: you’ll partner with internal teams in product, marketing, risk, and customer service to align solutions with client needs, provide feedback on product enhancements, and ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing support for merchants.
- • You will manage a dynamic portfolio of accounts, prioritizing high-potential opportunities while maintaining rigorous follow-up on pending proposals, contract negotiations, and service issue resolution — all while adhering to compliance standards and ethical sales practices.
- • Success in this role means exceeding sales targets, deepening client relationships through trusted advisory partnerships, and contributing to Elavon’s goal of serving over 1.5 million global customers with secure, innovative payment technologies.
- • You’ll grow professionally by mastering complex B2B sales cycles in the payments industry, refining negotiation and consultative selling techniques, and gaining exposure to cutting-edge fintech innovations — all within a stable, values-driven organization that invests in employee development and internal mobility.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- • Three to five years of relevant sales experience, preferably in B2B, financial services, or payment processing
- • Ability to travel within the Las Vegas, NV market and occasionally regionally for client meetings and industry events
- • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively engage clients and internal stakeholders
- • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a track record of creatively resolving client concerns
