  • • Ethena is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Mid-Market Account Manager to join our dynamic team and nurture our expanding portfolio of mid-market clients. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary advocate and relationship manager for our valued customers, ensuring they not only adopt Ethena's innovative compliance training solutions but also consistently derive maximum value from them. This position is ideally suited for an individual who thrives on fostering customer success, proactively identifies opportunities for improvement, and possesses a keen eye for strategic growth within existing accounts.
  • • As a Mid-Market Account Manager, you will be instrumental in supporting our fast-growing, high-potential customer base. You will manage a portfolio of accounts typically ranging from 150 to 1,000 employees, taking ownership of both customer renewals and driving strategic expansion opportunities. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire customer revenue lifecycle, from securing renewals and identifying untapped potential for new product adoption to cultivating multi-threaded relationships across key departments such as People, Legal, and Security.

  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and executing proactive account management plans to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. You will conduct regular business reviews (QBRs) with key stakeholders to demonstrate Ethena's ongoing value and identify areas for further engagement and growth. A significant part of your role will involve understanding customer business objectives and aligning Ethena's solutions to help them achieve those goals, thereby deepening our partnership.
  • • You will be responsible for forecasting renewal revenue and proactively managing the renewal process to minimize churn and maximize retention rates. This includes identifying at-risk accounts early and implementing mitigation strategies. Furthermore, you will actively seek opportunities to expand Ethena's footprint within existing accounts by identifying and pursuing upsell and cross-sell opportunities for our suite of compliance tools, including Hotline & Case Management, Policy Bot, and Phishing Simulator.
  • • Building strong, trusted relationships with a diverse range of contacts within each account will be crucial. This involves understanding the unique needs and challenges of different departments and stakeholders, from HR and Legal to IT and Security, and positioning Ethena as an indispensable partner.
  • • You will collaborate closely with our Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and to advocate for customer needs internally. Providing feedback to the Product team on customer requests and market trends will be essential for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • • Success in this role will be measured by key metrics such as renewal rates, net revenue retention, customer satisfaction scores (CSAT), and expansion revenue generated within your assigned mid-market accounts. You will be expected to maintain a deep understanding of Ethena's product offerings and the competitive landscape to effectively position our solutions.

  • • Proven experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or a related client-facing role within a SaaS environment, with a focus on mid-market or enterprise clients.
  • • Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of accounts, drive renewals, and identify expansion opportunities.
  • • Strong understanding of the sales cycle and customer lifecycle management.
  • • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • • Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
