• Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and operational continuity of all institutional activities. This involves meticulously managing the trade lifecycle from capture through settlement and reconciliation, ensuring that all transactions are processed with the highest level of precision and integrity.
• You will execute and maintain robust middle-office processes that support a wide range of institutional activities, including Over-The-Counter (OTC) trading, exchange-based transactions, and lending operations. This requires a deep understanding of the intricacies of each of these areas and the ability to manage them effectively.
• A key aspect of your role will be to ensure accurate and timely settlement of all trades. This includes overseeing post-trade processing, managing settlement instructions, coordinating with custodians, trading venues, and counterparties, and proactively resolving any trade breaks or exceptions that may arise. Maintaining high data integrity across all systems and adhering to operational best practices will be paramount.
• You will be responsible for monitoring digital asset and fiat balances across various custodians, trading venues, and wallets. This oversight is crucial for supporting the Trading and Treasury teams in maintaining optimal inventory allocation and ensuring readiness for settlement, thereby minimizing operational risks.
• You will actively participate in the implementation and execution of processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as defined by the global Head of Middle Office. Your role will also involve identifying potential inefficiencies within these workflows and proposing actionable improvements, thereby contributing to the continuous enhancement of our operational infrastructure and capabilities.
• Effective cross-functional coordination will be essential. You will partner closely with Trading, Treasury, Risk, Product, and Engineering teams to support new product launches, infrastructure upgrades, and system enhancements. A critical part of this collaboration is ensuring that regional operational needs are accurately represented and accounted for within global workflows, fostering a cohesive and efficient operational environment.
• This role demands a strong institutional mindset, with experience supporting institutional clients or counterparties. You must be adept at handling the urgency, complexity, and precision required in post-trade workflows, demonstrating a commitment to delivering institutional-grade support.
• You will leverage your expertise in middle office operations, settlements, clearing, and reconciliations within a trading firm, OTC desk, brokerage, exchange, or investment banking institution. A solid understanding of the entire trade lifecycle, including trade capture, allocations, settlements, reconciliation, and exception management, across both digital assets and traditional markets, is vital.
• Your ability to coordinate effectively with diverse teams, coupled with strong communication and problem-solving skills, will be key to your success. You should possess an operational rigor, characterized by a detail-oriented mindset, a strong understanding of controls, risk awareness, and a commitment to data accuracy. The ability to meticulously follow SOPs and maintain high-quality operational execution is non-negotiable.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in middle office, trading operations, settlements, clearing, or reconciliations within a trading firm, OTC desk, brokerage, exchange, or investment banking institution.
• Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle, including trade capture, allocations, settlements, reconciliation, and exception management across digital assets or traditional markets.
• Demonstrated experience with settlement flows, confirmation processes, wallet custodian coordination, and resolving breaks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of controls, risk awareness, and data accuracy; ability to follow SOPs and maintain high-quality operational execution.
• Proven ability to coordinate effectively with Trading, Treasury, Risk, and Product teams, possessing strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting institutional clients or counterparties, with the ability to handle urgency, complexity, and precision in post-trade workflows.
