- • As a Migration Technical Customer Support Specialist at Archy Inc., you will play a critical role in enabling dental practices to transition smoothly to modern, cloud-based practice management software, directly impacting their ability to focus on patient care rather than administrative technology burdens.
- • You will partner with Onboarding Managers to troubleshoot complex technical hurdles during data migration, ensuring data integrity, system compatibility, and seamless onboarding for 60–100 dental practices each month, making you a pivotal technical bridge between legacy systems and Archy’s innovative platform.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing end-to-end data migrations, coordinating secure server backups and restores across diverse Practice Management Systems (PMS), executing data mapping using Virtual Machines (VMs), and leveraging PowerShell for templated scripting to identify and resolve discrepancies in extracted data.
- • You will act as the technical liaison for system integrations, managing phone system transitions involving DNS configurations, Twilio campaign setups, and vendor-specific API or hardware connections, ensuring practices retain full communication functionality post-migration.
- • You will proactively identify, document, and escalate complex imaging and migration bugs to Engineering and Product teams, providing detailed trend analysis and reproduction steps to drive product improvements and reduce recurrence.
- • You will contribute to knowledge building by identifying gaps in internal and external training materials, creating clear documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides to streamline future implementations and empower both customers and internal teams.
- • You will provide scheduled technical support for dental imaging hardware and sensor issues during onboarding, troubleshooting connectivity, driver conflicts, and compatibility problems with devices such as Carestream, Dexis, Jazz, Digidoc, and Nanopix systems.
- • You will operate within a structured remote schedule (11 am–8 pm PT, Monday–Friday), balancing independent task management with collaborative escalation and documentation efforts to maintain high throughput and quality in a fast-paced SaaS onboarding environment.

- • You will join a collaborative Customer Experience team that values technical curiosity, ownership, and customer empathy, working closely with Onboarding, Engineering, and Product to turn complex migrations into successful, stress-free transitions for dental providers.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in healthcare IT data migration, dental imaging ecosystems, and SaaS support operations, positioning yourself as a trusted technical advisor and opening pathways to senior support, implementation engineering, or product specialist roles.
- • You will gain hands-on experience with enterprise-grade tools including VMs, PowerShell, remote desktop platforms (AnyDesk), and integration systems (Twilio, DNS), while refining your ability to translate technical complexity into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of technical support experience, preferably in a SaaS environment, with strong preference for hands-on backgrounds such as Apple Genius Bar, Geek Squad, or Tier 2/3 Help Desk roles demonstrating practical problem-solving ability.
- • Proficiency with remote desktop tools (AnyDesk or equivalent), Virtual Machines (VMs) for environment isolation and testing, and foundational PowerShell scripting for automation, data comparison, and bug investigation.
- • Familiarity with dental imaging software and hardware (e.g., Carestream, Dexis, Jazz, Digidoc, Nanopix) is a significant plus, enabling faster troubleshooting during sensor and imaging-related migration challenges.
- • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing deadlines and high-volume workloads (60–100 practices/month) while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.
- • Creative, solution-oriented mindset with a track record of resolving unique or ambiguous technical issues through innovative, outside-the-box thinking, especially in heterogeneous hardware/software environments.
- • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to build rapport, de-escalate frustration, and clearly explain technical concepts to dental practitioners and office staff.
- • Strong operational discipline, including self-direction, accountability, and organizational skills to independently track, prioritize, and resolve tickets and tasks in a remote, fast-paced setting.
