- • The Mission Solutions Operations Lead is a strategic role focused on defining and executing X-Bat campaign strategy to drive business development and capture discipline that converts strategy into won business, directly supporting Shield AI’s mission to protect service members and civilians with intelligent systems.
- • Day to day, the role involves applying structured problem-solving, analytic rigor, and operational discipline to turn growth priorities into actionable, measurable outcomes; contributing to strengthening BD and capture operations; sustaining a growing pipeline domestically and internationally; and collaborating across aircraft systems, AI software (Hivemind), autonomy hardware, and international growth teams.
- • The role is part of Shield AI, a venture-backed deep-tech company founded in 2015 with offices and facilities across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, whose technology supports global operations through products like V-BAT, X-BAT, Hivemind Enterprise, and Hivemind Vision.
- • As a core member of the X-Bat Campaign team, the person will gain immersive exposure to the company’s most critical decisions, develop expertise in defense business development and capture processes, and contribute to sustaining growth in a high-impact, mission-driven organization at the forefront of autonomous systems innovation.

- • Experience in business development, capture management, or campaign strategy within defense, aerospace, or technology sectors
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to turn growth priorities into measurable outcomes
- • Experience working cross-functionally with technical teams including aircraft systems, AI software, or autonomy hardware
- • Ability to sustain and grow a domestic and international business pipeline
- • Experience in structured operational discipline and execution of strategic initiatives
