  • • As the MM Regional Sales Director, you will be entrusted with the complete ownership of bookings growth within your assigned region. This leadership position demands a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to managing a team of Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) Account Executives (AEs). Your primary focus will be on cultivating new opportunities, meticulously managing the sales pipeline, executing effective account strategies, and driving customer expansion.
  • • You will lead a team of talented sellers focused on the SMB market, working collaboratively and in unison with regional leaders across Sales Engineering, Sales Development, Channel Development, and Rubrik Partners. This synergy is crucial for exceeding ambitious sales objectives and ensuring the overall success of the sales team. You will oversee all facets of the sales process, acting as a key influencer and driver of regional performance.
  • • Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to maximize Rubrik’s market position and identify key opportunities within your territory. This involves a deep understanding of the SMB landscape and the unique challenges faced by these businesses in today's threat environment.
  • • A significant aspect of this role is building and nurturing a robust partner ecosystem. You will work closely with our focus partners to foster strong collaborative relationships, identify mutual opportunities, and drive joint success. This ecosystem approach is vital for expanding our reach and impact in the SMB market.
  • • You will be directly responsible for managing and developing your team of sales representatives. This includes the critical tasks of recruiting top talent, hiring the right individuals, and ensuring their continuous enablement and professional growth through Rubrik’s comprehensive programs.
  • • We expect a hands-on approach and expect you to provide thought leadership in developing account strategies and focusing efforts on high-potential targets. Your guidance will be instrumental in shaping how the team approaches complex sales cycles and engages with C-level executives.
  • • You will be instrumental in selling and promoting the introduction of Rubrik's innovative solutions to SMB prospects, providing strategic guidance to your team on sales processes, effective selling techniques, and C-suite engagement.
  • • This role requires active participation in the strategic and tactical planning for the region, positioning you as a key member of the SMB Management team. Your insights and contributions will directly shape the future direction of our SMB sales efforts.
  • • You will develop and execute a focused plan designed to maximize revenue and drive sustainable growth across your entire region. This involves setting clear objectives, monitoring progress, and adapting strategies as needed to achieve targets.
  • • A critical function of this role is to drive an accurate and reliable forecasting practice within your team, ensuring alignment with management expectations and providing clear visibility into the sales pipeline.
  • • You will conduct regular weekly progress meetings with your sales team, fostering open communication, providing support, and ensuring accountability.
  • • You will assist in the development of short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives, contributing to the overall growth and success of Rubrik's sales organization.
  • • Regular interaction with senior management and executives across functional areas will be necessary to ensure regional objectives are met and to advocate for the needs of your team and territory.
  • • A key attribute for success in this role is the ability to influence thinking and gain acceptance from others, particularly in sensitive situations, demonstrating strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
