Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • Embark on a rewarding per diem journey as a Mobile Nurse Practitioner with IQVIA's In-Home Clinical Solutions team, where you will be instrumental in delivering vital diagnostic services directly to patients in their homes across Brooklyn, NY.
  • This role is designed for dedicated healthcare professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a flexible, mobile environment. You will be the face of IQVIA's commitment to improving patient outcomes by conducting essential clinical services that bridge the gap between traditional healthcare settings and the comfort of a patient's residence.
  • Your primary responsibility will involve traveling to patient homes within a designated geographic area to perform First Dose Observation clinical services. This includes, but is not limited to, the accurate administration of medications, meticulous clinical monitoring of patient conditions, performing electrocardiograms (ECGs) using provided equipment, taking precise blood pressure and pulse readings, and monitoring vital signs.
  • The per diem nature of this position offers unparalleled flexibility. There is no minimum monthly visit requirement, allowing you to tailor your work schedule to your personal needs and availability. Referrals for patient visits will be assigned based on your specified geographic availability and the current program demand, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities without overwhelming your schedule.
  • IQVIA streamlines the administrative aspects of your role, managing all scheduling and patient communication. This allows you to dedicate your full attention and expertise to the clinical care of your patients, minimizing administrative burdens and maximizing your impact.
  • As a Mobile Nurse Practitioner, you will be entrusted with maintaining a clean, organized, and professional work environment, both in your personal workspace and within your transportation. This includes the proper storage and handling of all necessary supplies specific to the In-Home Network.
  • A critical component of your role involves seamless collaboration with IQVIA’s dedicated clinical coordination team. You will be responsible for executing and submitting all appropriate visit-related paperwork promptly and with the utmost accuracy. This ensures continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Meticulous record-keeping is essential. You will maintain accurate mileage and time logs, which are crucial for timely reimbursement and adherence to compliance protocols. This attention to detail supports both your compensation and the operational efficiency of the program.
  • The role requires a strong commitment to patient safety and well-being, ensuring that all clinical services are performed with the highest standards of care and professionalism. You will be empowered to make informed clinical decisions within the scope of your practice, always prioritizing the patient's best interest.
  • This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your clinical skills in a dynamic and independent setting, contributing directly to IQVIA's mission of accelerating the development and commercialization of innovative medical treatments and improving patient outcomes worldwide.
  • You will be an integral part of a healthcare network that values innovation, integrity, and a patient-first approach, making a tangible difference in the lives of individuals in the Brooklyn community and beyond.
  • The flexibility of this role allows for a healthy work-life balance, empowering you to pursue other interests or commitments while still engaging in meaningful clinical practice.
  • You will be provided with the necessary equipment for performing ECGs, ensuring you have the tools needed to conduct comprehensive assessments.
  • Your commitment to excellence in patient care and your ability to work autonomously will be highly valued and recognized within the IQVIA organization.
  • This position offers a unique blend of autonomy and support, with IQVIA providing the framework and resources for you to succeed as a mobile clinician.
