  • • As a National Accounts Manager (Non-Commercial) at Smithfield Foods, you will drive strategic growth by managing and expanding relationships with key non-commercial accounts such as healthcare, education, hospitality, and convenience stores, directly contributing to the company’s mission of sustainably feeding people around the world.
  • • Day to day, you will lead strategic vision for national corporate accounts, guide and support sales teams including Divisional Directors and broker partners, collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, and Operations, develop category management strategies, and ensure flawless execution of sales initiatives across processed and fresh pork categories.

  • • In this role, you will develop leadership and strategic account management skills, deepen expertise in foodservice and retail channels, master data-driven selling using IRI and Nielsen, and build lasting partnerships that influence Smithfield’s long-term growth and market competitiveness.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 8+ years’ relevant experience in retail or foodservice meat trade, or equivalent combination
  • • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership
  • • Strong understanding of the dynamics of the food business industry or retail channels
  • • Demonstrated experience of customer-focused and fact-based selling, including IRI, Nielsen and Perishable Group data
  • • High level of written and verbal communication skills, organizational planning, and adaptability
  • • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
