📋 Description

  • • As Scan.com continues its rapid expansion in the digital health sector, we are seeking a highly motivated and strategically-minded National Program Manager to spearhead the growth and operational excellence of our burgeoning Workers' Compensation (WC) division. This pivotal role is situated at the nexus of operations, product development, and network expansion, offering a unique opportunity to shape a critical business vertical within a fast-growing, profitable scale-up. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will serve as the operational linchpin, driving efficiency, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • • In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and meticulously optimizing the operational workflows that underpin our Workers' Compensation program. This involves establishing robust processes from the ground up, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with the specific demands of the WC market. Your responsibilities will extend to the direct support and management of operational teams, encompassing comprehensive training initiatives, performance management strategies, and fostering an environment conducive to high achievement and professional development.
  • • A core aspect of your contribution will be the development and rigorous tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics. You will be responsible for establishing benchmarks for operational excellence and program performance, using data to identify areas for improvement and to demonstrate the tangible impact of your initiatives. This data-driven approach will be crucial in guiding strategic decisions and ensuring the WC program meets and exceeds its objectives.
  • • You will play a key role in building and refining the efficient systems and processes necessary to support the aggressive, scalable growth trajectory of the WC program. This requires a forward-thinking approach, anticipating future needs and proactively developing solutions that can accommodate increasing volumes and complexity without compromising quality or speed.
  • • Collaboration is paramount in this role. You will work closely and cross-functionally with vital teams including Sales, Product, Network Operations, and Growth. Your ability to foster strong partnerships and ensure seamless execution across these departments will be critical to the overall success of WC initiatives and the broader company objectives.
  • • A significant part of your remit will involve assessing and supporting the network strategy. This includes understanding how operational utilization impacts network performance and ensuring alignment with state-specific regulatory requirements and market dynamics within the Workers' Compensation landscape.
  • • You will be tasked with identifying operational bottlenecks, analyzing their root causes, and implementing effective, sustainable solutions to drive significant improvements in efficiency and throughput. This proactive problem-solving will be essential for maintaining a competitive edge and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • • Managing key relationships with external stakeholders is also a crucial component of this role. You will cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, healthcare providers, and other essential partners within the Workers' Compensation ecosystem, ensuring smooth collaboration and mutual benefit.
  • • Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant state regulations and Workers' Compensation requirements is non-negotiable. You will be responsible for staying abreast of regulatory changes and embedding compliance into all operational processes.
  • • To support consistency and scalability, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive operational documentation, including detailed playbooks, standard operating procedures, and training materials that empower the team and ensure knowledge transfer.
  • • In your first year, your primary objectives will be to successfully establish the foundational operational workflows and processes for our Phase 1 Workers Compensation launch, enabling the efficient and accurate processing of WC referrals. You will also focus on scaling and developing a high-performing operational team, driving measurable performance against targeted KPIs, fostering strong cross-functional partnerships, and embodying Scan.com's core values of continuous improvement, ownership, and customer-centricity, thereby setting a positive and productive tone for the entire WC division.
